I guess you all missed some very detailed playing on real pins
The Speed of the flippers is much too fast! You can shot the ball around the whole table at any position of the Flippers. The aiming is great, you can shot the ball at any aimed position. But the finetune is not good. This is not a offense, but i seriously wonder why people and of course Noah himself say, that this are the best flipper setting you can get. They are defentliy not. Yes for strong shots, but not for flipping, tipping or slided balls. Tipovers are simply unplayable with with that. Just my opinion!
My current VPX Tables I am working on:
Attack from Mars/Finished - The Walking Dead Pro/90% - The Lord of the Rings/75% - Family Guy/90% - The Simpsons Pinball Party/15%

Well done UR and NF! Nice table!
I think anyone has its own preferences, that's why I never take it personally when someone tell me things like "when are you going to make normal tables", "I hate those wide angles", "I'm not a dwarf", "I don't play with my nose on the table", "why are you cutting off the aprons, I want to see the cards", "get rid of the DMD, waste of place", and many similar things. And you won't believe how many similar emails I have received. But then I remember that I made the tables the way I like to play them, and since this is VP then anyone can change the settings to their preferences. And my preferences change from time to time.
But I must say that when I loaded the table and I played a little I noticed the flippers, "wow, bouncy", I thought, "very similar to the ones in the Timeshock series", "not bad", "mmm different than mine... how did they do that... let me take a look at the settings... I like them
". But I guess I'll continue to use my settings in my tables for a while since I'm used to them (yeah, I know they are "easy" or "beginner" settings
, it is very easy to catch the ball with them). But I'll be watching closely your settings
.
Now, back on topic. I think the lighting is very good, and for a RC it is very good, I'm looking forward to see the end result.

Work of art! Plain and simple. Allot of sweat and blood went into this table and it shows. Details to a maximum and a fine play. Dark enough so the flashers look bright (nice balance). Thank you for such a fine virtual machine! Very happy!

That video put me into a trance. Bang on for speed.
I don't know what my problem is, but I just cannot play 4:3 tables
I think I have just become too accustomed to FS tables. I just cannot judge the speed at which the ball is moving towards the flippers. I am terrible.

Really nice table allthough the graphics is garbled on my computer, but thats a problem i have to solve
Plays really good.
If it's of any interrest i have done a playfield and plastics redraw for my FP attempt. Done in Inkscape so it can be as hires as you like.
If you would like a peek to determine if it's any good just PM me.

just watch this
At 3:19 you have what I mean...
Impossible on your T2...cause the Flippers have a much too high return Strenght.
This move is possible on my newer tables, also as any other shot too

I love your table Unclereamus and Noah, i like the way it looks and feels. But for me the flippers are going to take some time getting use to, but i like a challenge and it's different then the other tables of Terminator 2. So again i say good job can't wait to see what you do next with this table.

Ok, and here is a comparsion with a real T2 ( even with that fucked up machine
)
Just watch it at
0:23
and
0:45
Just not possible in your Version.
I am not going to make the table bad, itīs just the thing, that these flipper settings are not that top notch that Noah means it is...

Thanks for the video, and yeah, that's an easy fix UR and I already discussed. It has nothing to do with the flippers. They aren't too fast, they are perfect speed.
Need I remind you of my statement that there is going to be some give and take here? Sans the flipper transfer, the flippers play perfect. That was my goal.
The main reason I even started researching flippers as I did is because of the strategy I use on my real WWF is impossible with ANY VP flippers up this point. These are accurate as hell to the real deal!
More on flipper pass fix when it's finished.

So, really this has been about limitations in VP?
I really don't seem to be grasping your criticism when my whole claim here is that they flip the ball as a real flipper should. There is no question they play perfectly in that aspect. You're getting into the emulation of the true mechanics not being emulated by VP properly, if I understand you right.
Is this closer to what you'd like to see?
I realize when have lingual and cultural differences, GRONI, but in the future instead of bluntly stating something is WRONG, try to work on suggestions toward a solution. I'm only trying to improve the accuracy of our (Mine with UR) emulations.

it is a fact that they are wrong, so i donīt see no reason to not say they are. And even the newest video shows, that its wrong, cause the speed is simply too fast. And thats WRONG...thats all...Also the ball rolls flat on the flippers from the inlanes, instead of dancing a bit. Looks like sliding on Ice....Also WRONG...so when you have a problem with the meaning of wrong, i cannot help you...

Thank you UR and NF for the VP9 version of T2!
The table plays good here so far, I have only played a few games. I need to get a handle on this gun timing again, very nice looking gun BTW. I think the PF image is a little dark and hides some of the PF artwork but that's easy enough to edit.
Thanks again for the release.
