Looks great Steve Paradis!
Thanks for sharing with us.
You're one of the best designers for Future Pinball, it would be so awesome if we would ever see an 1990>+ Williams table from you (take over the Funhouse project from Uncle Willy?
)! It would be the best thing for Future Pinball ever! Thx for everything.

Just looking at some of the playfield directions, I'd like to know more about them. Or can't you disclose this information at the time?
Back Stage Bonus (top left hole)
Reunite the Band (right shot)
Equalise This! (Jet Bumpers. Do you have to match them like in Whodunnit and Elvis?)
Left gates
Warp Zone
Max Combo shot
Also, just a potential problem that I've spotted: the overall success readout shows the percentage of notes hit. But what if you are currently on 100% of notes? The readout only has two digits, so couldn't show that. You'd have to have a 3-digit readout.

Back Stage Bonus : Collect that to remove the security guard blocking the entry of the cyclotron activator
Reunite the Band (right shot) : gates are linked to the flippers. open the proper gate to slide the ball right through each of the 4 alleys
Equalise This! : bumpers have Interactive Dial on them. When the 3 dials are aligned, you have a time and score bonus
Left gates : increase the Reunite the band bonus. to collect this bonus you have to complete the reunite the band feature.
Warp Zone:kick your ball the other side but become a sudden death pit when time is over
Max Combo shot : increase the maximum of each combo you get during the minigame

Trust me. It is impossible to have 100.

OK. At the end it's impossible to have 100, but...
In one of your videos, the readout reads 0 just before you miss your first note. I.E. You are hitting 100% up until that point. This is what I mean.

Hi everyone,
I was lucky enough to play-test a beta version of World Tour last night, and yes, I’ll just go ahead and say it: I think it's pretty fantastic.
Graphically, I love the spinning multicolor pop bumpers, those gates on the left (which we control), the record with the animated bus (brilliant), etc. Stills of the table don’t do the light show and the pop bumpers justice, they’re really something to see; all we need is a disco ball effect and she’s complete! LOL! The layout is very good and leaves me with a good early impression. There are also two difficulties when starting the game but I only had time to try “easy”. As everyone who’s seen the pics, an integral part of the game relies on a Guitar Hero/Rock Band segment and yes, it works better than I though. On the first song, I had a bit of trouble but on the second tune I had an easier time and the combo's became second nature in the later games, which imho is the key to getting “in the zone” with this game.
Now my personal preference lends itself more towards non-timed pinball games and after two games, I still kind of felt that way with World Tour, BUT I played a 3rd and 4th game and I really got into it, getting into the songs, getting multiball going, and just enjoying this as a very unique experience (more on that in a minute). Even though I would have initially thought this game would have been better with shorter song times (at least at the start of the game), I was quickly forgetting that and just enjoyed this unique experience. During that 3rd game, I ended up hearing about 4 songs and one in particular "Your Reality" is IMHO an EXCELLENT tune, so whoever is responsible for it, take a bow! I’d have no problems picking this tune up and slapping it on my ITouch! All tunes I heard were very good in fact, with nice variety in the different styles of music.
I played this more than I thought I would, I was supposed to be in bed and just give this a quick spin and post quick comments back to Steve. Instead I played 4 games, which led to providing lengthier comments back to “the master” and then got me thinking about it and how it fits into the world of pinball (pretty bizarre at 1am!). Great, a 5 hour sleep night, paying for it today! . Thinking about it? It’s early, I know, but right now, I see this table as a very important release in the virtual world of pinball, as World Tour IMHO has successfully bridged a gap, similar to what Pin2K was trying to do. Although I was a little reluctant with the concept (again, not a fan of timed games like safecracker), the marriage works! I think any guitar hero/rock band fan may be very attracted towards this and in turn, may end up getting them to play pinball, which can lead to playing OTHER pinball games, which is never a bad thing.
Am I exaggerating? Maybe but remember, this is a beta, and it’s a first release ,and it’s got a wow factor that kicked me hard! There is still some stuff to do and I’m sure upon review of comments after it’s release, can lead to even better integration, added modes, etc. But at this moment, I can say that this thing isn’t even out yet, and I’m thinking it should be renamed to “World Tour 2010” so that I can EXPECT yearly sequels, as it has an original “franchise” feel to the experience; so I ask you: when’s the last time you felt that way about a pinball game? As with any music based game, there is always the thought you might get fed up of hearing certain tunes but I think Steve has this in mind for the future. I have to say, great job by the artists who contributed the songs, you guys sure are talented.
I still can’t get over how much « originality » we see in your releases Steve. Your tables are unique, you think « out of the box » and we’re all winners for it. Thanks for being part of our community friend, the best compliment I can provide is: I can’t wait to get home to play test this beauty some more!
