Also true. But AFAIK information on these is very sparse in western countries..

I'm aware about both, just mentioned them for the sake of completeness.

 

I can confirm that Sega Japan is ROM based though, whereas some machines at the time only had digital score displays driven by relays.

If you patch the original set, it will work in latest VPinMAME actions compile. This was added a few weeks ago.
