You're full of shit mate. Here's my table listing, read the comments -  https://www.vpforums...&showfile=14436

You're not the first arsehole (or group of arseholes) to pull this stunt.

You are not only a liar, you are also sick and crazy ...
Your attitude and your frenzy of wanting to put your name on all the tables is not only irrelevant but ruins the work and motivation of those who bring something to this community.
For my part, I am breaking up.

Bigus from now on could you comment in the script file about which table base version you have used for your mod because after going through one of your tables it looks as though you have used 1.0 initial release of a table but the author has put out 1.0.1 so by extension your table is lacking the original authors bug fix in their script, would go a long way to know which table version was used for the mod (I would go far as saying something like this should be clear, concise and mandatory for future mod tables for all authors) everyone should know when original table is updated and the mod table is behind the current original version IMO.

I also second the fact that all changes should be well documented in the script, as in every change be it a value or editor change should be noted... that way the flak about copy pasta and slappin your name on another authors table would just go away and be unwarranted.

I don't always use the latest version for various reasons, but I add any crucial fixes from later versions. I also remove stuff. I'm doing mods - not updates - and I typically make scores of setting changes on each table. I'm not about to document every single change. I'll handle the flak.

its not just for the flak

I read the script notes on every table and when I'm presented with a Bigus table I want to know what was changed... without knowing what was changed it could very well be a change I don't like or do like but if I have no idea what has changed so there is very little to set your table apart from the original, do I risk investing time on a table that I have no idea what the difference was from the original?

when I download a 1.0.1 version the author conveys what thing has changed from 1.0.0 but when I download yours I don't even know which version you have based your changes on let alone what the actual changes actually are. you say you specifically use certain versions for reasons but don't tell the reasons in the notes. this is coming from a neutral third party, I want very much to download and use your table mods but because you do not document what the changes are it undermines your own efforts.

just my 2 cents, give me a reason to download your branded tables over the standard versions.

I honestly don't care what becomes of the tables once I press Submit, or whatever thought processes goes into you designing your collection. Take it or leave it. I do this for fun, and I'm not going to do stuff that sucks the fun out of it, just to pander to other peoples' demands. Believe whatever you want, but I do my best with each offering, and if you have a specific problem with a specific table, let me know and I'll do my best to resolve it. If you don't like something, choose another version. Fine by me.

I understand that you're trying to be helpful, but I'm entitled to choose how I do my hobby. All things considered, I really don't get that much grief. I get many more  messages of thanks and appreciation than attacks, so it's all good from my perspective. :)

I haven't been around long but learned how to build my cab and setup the software myself. I enjoy looking at the script work and trying to figure out what is going on, and have been successful at solving some of my own issues. Compared to those that buy into the hobby, I'd say that's an accomplishment. I do appreciate everyone who submits their art (as I Like to call it) to make the hobby continuously enjoyable. And even though I'm just a "leech" to some, as I haven't yet had the time to learn the craft, as an end user, I appreciate any time that someone devotes to change things up without all of the drama. Thanks to Bigus and everyone else that likes to tinker.

My other 'hobby' is engine building and car restoration. I just built my 3rd Factory Five Cobra. The average builder will invest about 400 hours into the build to do it right. The forums are very supportive and when one builder takes an odd path to improve a process or fabricate a new part, its shared with everyone and taken as flattery when it is copied over and over again. Some are so old that no one remembers who created the piece or had the idea to begin with, but matters not, as the community appreciates itself for simply carrying on and supporting the hobby with fresh new members. Factory Five itself is also very supportive of modifying its basic design to create something more unique and sometimes better. Perhaps if we had more of that philosophy here, we could pay more attention to the craft itself and enjoy it for what it is.

In case this is still supposed to be the support thread...

I'm playing on desktop. The DMD is stretched out vertically. It's about 2/3rds the height of my screen. Is there any way to adjust that?

Right-click on the DMD and select Show Border, then resize it like any window by dragging the border. When done, Hide Border.

It always amazes me when people argue and get territorial about what is essentially them copying someone else's work in the first place then getting up in arms over a modification of a copy when that copy had permission to MOD. Many people put their blood sweat and tears into these tables in their physical forms and nobody asked their permission before recreating them digitally. Many tables have been lost from VPinball being taken down and if it weren't for Bigus' mods, I wouldn't have VPX versions of half the tables I do, so I'm grateful for that. However I do agree that more details would be nice about what was changed, linking to the roms, updating the table info/script to show that he did something, etc. This is supposed to be a community where people work together to preserve as best as they can so making it about yourself personally or attacking people that are contributing to the whole just seems very perplexing to me. Especially when the argument it's going to make so and so leave the site altogether...while you're bullying someone into doing the same.

I mean… I’d play with it. Let’s collaborate. B66 ain’t got shit on our mod. Maybe we can take a Knorr or G5k table and really spruce it up. I like where your head’s at.

Hey buddy,

I have a lot of time a ball stuck on the right ramp.
sometimes under the space ship, but also in the turning corner.
Is that something you can fix ?

Never had that myself, but I'll look into it :)

Even with the most gentle place and release with ball control, I'm unable to get it stuck there anywhere. I can balance it momentarily on the top of the curve, but it's tricky and doesn't get stuck there. Is this a 10.7 thing maybe? It uses collidable prims for the ramps, if that makes any difference. :unknw:

10.7 and i can not make it do that either

unless

i accidentally bump the Z scale from 1

Mike can you double check your zscale?

I tried both hitting it, slinging it and hand rolling and parking it up there

but no matter what, it rolls back away, i tried to balance it but could not
