Hi JP,

For some reason, the ramp still goes up when booting the ROM. Setting mRDir to 0 does not solve it like it did before sad.gif

Now it's playable for me on my machine! (Athlon II X4 2.6 ghz, Windows 7 32 bit, Nvidia GForce 9100 integrated graphics)

Can play at 1280x1024 32 bit.

Beautiful. Love the sound effects. Plays nice & smooth too.

Great job on the machine! I played JOKERZ! at my local arcade a decade ago and loved every minute of it! biggrin.gif It's so awesome to have the means to play this game again!

BTW, does anyone find it hilariously ironic that the redesign of this table was originally released around Christmas and the Poker King happens to bear a striking resemblance to Santa Claus? laugh.gif

Changing the ramp timer interval as well as changing resolution had no effect on my computer. Enabling/disabling HR has no effect either. I disabled the ramp dropwalls, moved them off the table and used a reel for the animation, and now it plays very smooth. cool.gif

cmd.

I'm gonna have to give this a try.. I've never played it, 1988 is about as old as I go, but this table looks nice, and well... its a JP table smile.gif

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. ... God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion; what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms." -- Thomas Jefferson to William Stephens Smith, 1787

Thank you very much for this great table I just discovered.
On the easy side, perfect for me as I play more to relax than to compete.
Plays perfect on my laptop. cool.gif dblthumb.gif

One of my favorite tables JP

one thing I noticed is the ramps don't always seem to register when you go to double your score.

I see I made those switches a little too small, so very fast ball may not register.
Find sw49 and sw50 and change their radius from 32 to 50. I think that should be enough to make them register all the shots.

Actually I don't think it is in the script. In the editor with the table loaded, select Options. Then select the switch in question. Under Colors and Formatting, you should see Raduis after you select the switch. Make your adjustment to 50 there. Save the table and then run it to see if it works for you.

Hey JP sorry to bug ya again but i'm not able to test what you asked, I can't select sw49 and sw50 because the list of objects goes outside of my screen.

here is a screenshot of why i can't change the resolution to them

That's right clyde. Those are the switches, and you adjust the size on the properties window on the right. Change their size from 32 to 50 and they will register better. I'll make an update later this year when the new PNG transparency is working better, so I can give a better look to those ramps.

Well, not all my tables are good, I have a few of them that could be better smile.gif
