Great work as always, I know baking the textures of illuminated plastics (the inserts) can be quite tricky to get the desired result, you seem to always get such nice results.

How's the performance hit with all the primitive light inserts? I'm assuming they need to be set active and non static.

Looks amazing by the way.. :-)

Finally somebody noticed! I will fix it sometime :-)

About the new inserts: they do not have any performance impact, since they are part of the playfield image. I use Blender to setup the insert model with some lights, render the resulting image from top down view, use the rendered image to paste in the photoshop file of the playfield. I formerly used images from the internet with some white brightening in the middle (like in BK2K), but for the arrows and the serve again insert, I could not find something which I really liked. In the WIP I use the exact same lighting setup as in BK2K: one light on the insert (exact size and shape of the insert), one additional light for the glow around the insert. There is some more to it, but that is the basic setup.

Super impressive once again flupper !

I hope that it's going to be as great as your awesome Black Knight 2000 table.

Diner's visuals are on that level already. Thanks.

Well, I wasted $4.99 on the Pinball Arcade version. I should've just given you the $4.99 since this one is far superior.

I'm often critical of TPA (pinball Pong) so I'd like to say one nice thing: Good flipper physics. :)

I'm at a loss for words. This has been one of my all time favorites and it looks better than the original I used to have. I am personally deeply appreciative of all the hard work and time you have put into it. A true masterpiece!!

For those of you still wondering: I fixed the jukebox keys! And some other stuff:

Partly rerendered the plastics with a glass layer on top of them. This is the actual texture I use in VPX:

icecreamright00_t.png

In VPX it looks like this:

screenshot67_t.jpg

I also spend a lot of time on the ramps and some of the stuff on top of the ramps (switches, screws, metal plates, etc), in closeup:

screenshot68_t.jpg

The whole table now looks like this:
