Another idea to consider would be a more adult driven, less cartoonish type theme.  Kind of like on the idea of the Batman themes but incorporating other characters. All of this artwork is great  Thanks for all of the effort!

Hi Stuzza,

I really love the Batman theme - the 2 last pictures you initially posted. Do you have a download for them as well?

Do you have those for all cabinet parts?

Regards,

spopin

I never actually finished those ones.  In fact the darker batman one was going to be my friends cab but it never really came out how we wanted so we scrapped it and started over with Watchmen.  I still have the file though so can upload for you if you wish.  You may need to play with it a bit to finish it off.  Leave it with me and I'll see what I can do. :)

I have just done this DC characters one.  Would this be more suitable?  The reason for mostly cartoon style is due to the higher quality images.  A lot of the realistic art available on the net is very low res and would look horrible when resized up to 300dpi at 1.3m wide.  I use a program to upscale some artwork with varying success.  With some of the basic cartoon stuff like Futurama and American Dad I was able to vectorise the characters first, meaning I can then upscale to any size without loss of quality.

Thats really nice too...In my mind, I was envisioning something like this although I realize its not generic, I still think it would look pretty awesome. Its also a pretty hi rez image.

Yeah I have seen that image.  I've actually used it on a Star Wars themed Cab art I've done recently.  I was going to upload here but my friend has decided he wants it for one of his cabs so it will stay with me for now.

It is easy enough to take a nice image like that and use it as side art unmodified if you wish.  Much harder to actually recreate something like that using other images... ;)  As I learn photoshop more I'll delve into different types.  So far I've just been doing what is fun for me.

Spawn Pinball Art.  I know I said I technically don't take requests but... I did happen to find some cool Spawn vector art while looking for zombie art and so couldn't resist.  So yeah if anyone feels like they want to throw requests out my way then go for it.  If I happen to come across some art that will work I may just create something. :)

So Toxie I hope you like it?

Hi Stuzza,

I love all of the artwork you have upload for the community - thank you.  And I know you said you don't take request, but I am wondering if you would create one about the television show in the U.S. called "The Walking Dead".  I don't know if you Aussies get the show there.  However, here is a link to the website that has hundreds of still photos from the show and I would love to see what you design for the television show would be.  http://www.imdb.com/...ref_=ttmi_mi_sm

That is awesome!  Love your cab art on the pin too!  I think Toxie will like this a lot.  It would be great to see your table running on a cab with my art.  Well done!!!  Funny if people started making other tables based on the cab art here.  Imagine a funny Scooby Doo table. :)

The Walking Dead is one of my favourite shows!  I have had to download it here in Australia though as it has only just started on one of the free to air channels.  Can't wait for the rest of the current season.  Unfortunately the stills from that site are not really big enough for art.  I'll have a look into maybe doing a walking dead though if I find other usable art.

It's 42 degrees Celsius here again today so too hot to do anything but stay inside with the aircon on.  So had some time to have a go at some "realistic" style art.  Managed to find some ultra high res art for The Walking Dead TV Show.  Unfortunately I probably won't be able to upload this as the file size is just too large.  Plus I've also had some interest in people after exclusives so we'll see....

Well, it is pure coincidence: more than one month making my table and a friend pointed me to this topic yesterday only ;)

i dont like much vector art in general, and my virtual cab texture (and pics i used for it) are too low res to make a nice full scale cab artwork :( .  maybe i should try on my mini cab...

but i'm sure someone will try.

HI,

Stuzza your artwork is amazing

I am only a novice to flash and fireworks and not much into photoshop but I am going to try a Marvel vs DC theme on my cab, One image each on each of the cab sides.

Do you have the upload details for the DC theme and have you created a Marvel and DC headbox and front images?

Also I have been toying with a martial arts theme such as Jackie Chan, Jet Li and Bruce Lee combined. I think this would look great, do you have anything like this?

Thanks again and keep up the good work.

The Marvel download includes the backbox and front cab art.  I have not uploaded the DC art as yet. Sorry, but I have not done anything martial arts related at this stage.

Possible ART SERVICE?

I have been toying with the idea of offering a custom art service for a small fee.  Basically what I was thinking was offering my time to "custom fit" any of the art I have provided (plus some I have not ;) ) to a persons specific cab dimensions.  Then I would offer a private download link for that person to download the printable PDF files that they could take straight to their desired printer.

Would anyone be interested in such a service??  I was thinking just a small fee of something like $50 to cover my time.  As a bonus you could choose from additional art not available for free here.  This would perhaps help those that don't have photoshop or the time and skills required to adjust the art to their own needs.  This would NOT be a custom request design service like others offer.  Basically you would choose only from a collection of art which is complete or near complete already.

Todays Free Art Release:   DC

This one was quite large so I have not included the right side of the cab.  However, just make the right the same as the left as the graphic fits fine as seen in preview below.  Both backbox sides are included.

Thanks Stuzza,

Love the walking dead design.  It is better than I imagined.  You do great work you really have an eye for design.  If you decide you want to sell the image let me know I'll buy the finished product for an entire pinball machine artwork.

For $50 I'll size it up to your exact cab dimensions and send you the printable full res PDF files.  PM me to discuss if you like.

Here is what I came up with for the backbox and front:
