I'd run Windows 10 pro if the AMD graphics software would run without crashing every time.  Even with a new fresh install of win 10 on completely different motherboard, cpu and ram.  Runs on windows 7 Pro with no issues.  I suppose I could use an older version of the software that I know works but I really don't feel like making backups and upgrading when it's working fine on Win 7.

I know VP 9 will work
VPX might work also, try installing it and see, it comes with VP9 so you will at least get that out of it

Tons of good VP9 tables

Ever since I got the Covid 19 shots, I been repeating over and over, "Windows 10". It's like a tourette's tick. Any time I'm in Best Buy or the Apple store, I shout it out loud. It's the weirdest thing.

In principal every version. Both PinMAME and VP9.2.X and VP9.9.X and VPX still work on XP. The VPX10.7 beta not yet so far, but we can make it like that for the final, lets see.

Windows 10. But I'm not sure why the editor runs at 1 frame per second. It's unusable.

Only reason for the editor to slow down is if the table has polygon-heavy primitives, which can be reduced in the options for the primitive. Other than that, all I can think of is a problem pc-side.

No hardware video acceleration in the editor, it is all in software best i can tell

Load a table with 800,000 objects on the screen and it will be laggy moving around the editor
but we have layers, only show what you need to see.
If i am working on insert lamps, i really dont need need to be looking at 200 high poly pins and pegs and screws and nuts etc

If I load a blank playfield I still get the same frame rate on the editor. Even if it was software rendering, it's the worst I've ever seen. Are there any other known fixes for this? I would love to be able to play around with my pinball ideas. I just can't feasibly use the software because of this issue.

My pc is a beast on it's own. Ryzen 5 1600, 16 gigs of ram. 970SC and such.

I dont think i have seen anyone, until right now,  have that issue

Slow on a table with tons of parts all displaying in the editor at once, yes

Slow on a totally empty table in the editor? nope, have not seen that before, and i author tables from a laptop that has the power of a 2 slice toaster
