Table ran great for me. Only issue I had was the flippers seemed to react about a second after I hit the button. Everything else ran great.

ok, I have it working perfectly on my desktop machine without changing it to fullscreen for the cab.

There is something about this new version that slowed it down when I changed it to full screen cab version.

I imagine I'll have to learn more about these primitives since it's so impressive you can do effects like the millenium falcon canon with a primitive.

I'm really enjoying this now. I had a Star Wars for over 4 years and playing the Star Wars Trilogy is a thrill.

The lens flashes are very nice and the falcon and other ship look great. I think this is more colorful that the real game with the cool green cannon flashes and the burst of flasher colors.

I can't wait to explore more on this table. THanks JP.

I guess by millenium falcon you mean the X-Wing :) Yes, it is done with two primitives: one for the cannon under and one for the Xwing on top. The Xwing looks a little flat when it turns, but the movement is so smooth that I wanted to use a primitive :) That Xwing and it cannon rotates 1/4 degree at a time, so the movement is supersmooth :) Take a look at the textures to see how I made them (I can add the texture for the cannon here so you don't need to search for it)

The third primitive is used for the tie fighter, so it shakes when a droptarget is hit. Here the movement is kind of rough just now. I guess I'll add more steps in the final version.

And 2 primitives are used on top of the flippers to make the flipper decoration. Those move at the same degree as the flippers. So you may adjust the flippers speed and angle without worring about the decal.

And If any of you finds a better suited flipper settings, so write them here please :)

So there are 5 primitives in this table.

The cannon at the top left are done with alpha ramps, but I could have used a primitive too.

I need to test the table with a less powerfull computer to see what slows down more the table in this latest VP9-rev434: the alpha ramps or the primitives.

The ball gets stuck between the Wall397 and the Gate3 (under the X-Wing).
The F11 key helps to have a minor flippers lag.

Thanks

Max

Thanks Max! I was fixing that wall after I added the gate, but I forgot to finish it :)

Hey table builders. Is there a general rule of thumb for toy/model angles on desktop and full screen tables? I was just going to wing it, but wanted to know if there is a good starting point. Thanks !

Anybody know how to find VP915? I've been all over Kodiak's signature and can't find it.

https://www.dropbox....VPinball Builds

Is there any topic somewhere about the VP915 development, I've just tested rev434 and the EMreels don't work the same as on VP914, some textures don't take the same position as before (1 pixel shifted). All tables using EMreels will be affected!

We had this problem between VP912 and VP913/914, and it seems that we are about to have the same issue with VP915.

I don't know who is working on this project, but could you please take a look at this before releasing the official version, and try to avoid any changes on the textures position, except if there is a great new feature added on the EMreels, which creates this issue because of a logical thing.

Thank you very much!

The rom sound seems to be skipping a bit when I play tested the table.

The rom sound is fine in test mode, maybe it's an issue in the table script?

It's cool to see a table actually using primitives, the shaking of the tie fighter looks cool :) that and someone implementing my idea of using primitives for flipper decals :D

Yes, and the XWing and the cannon under it, are also made with primitives. And also the green light of the cannon are also primitives.

I used primitives also in Scarface, also on the flippers and the spinner
