QUOTE (maxxsinner @ Apr 14 2012, 06:13 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Got a package from Zebulon a week or two ago......

Finally got around to installing one of the boards.
Went for the high power board first to be able to run my Crees at full power. Was a walk in the park to solder and was easy to retrofit into my cab.

Loaded it up with all Crees locked on using the LumArua Control centre from GGG, walked away for an hour.
Came back to see how it was going...... Nothing was even getting close to warm!!
Going to retrofit all my other outputs when I get a chance. My light show has never looked so good. biggrin.gif

hi can you say is all ok to going with the high powerboard, would you write a wiring plan for 12 volt cree led's gear motor and a shaker motor

this was the original plan from me, i will change it with the powerboard and i will starting the ordering when you can look and change the mistakes it is very nice

THe board is still working fine GGG.

Wiring is the same except instead of wiring straight the LED, Gear motor and shaker motor, you wire from the LEDwiz, to the inputs on the Power Board, then from the Outputs on the powerboard to the LEDs, etc.
I think Zeb will be doing wiring diagrams for it all?

Soon I will be adding how to wire with the Power board to my wiring guide but just dont have the time at the moment.

thx i know it, say me how many mA use the driverboard from the led wiz per port, how many mA goes out from the powerboard per port, must i use the raly before the gear and shaker motor ( by shaker how dose the speed controls setting )

must i use only two fuses for the powerboard, not before the crees.

when you see my diagramm have a question for the strobe leds i will use 6 of them fuor on the box two under the cab can i all connect on one port by the powerboard or must i have the constant power amps (see on the right side on my plan) the way powerboard to constant power to 3 strobe crees thats must i make in two times is this right

when i will use the crees max power (on box) @600mAh and of the end from the playfield @400 mAh, can you say me what for resistor i must use all 12 volt,

it will be very nice when you can help me

Started the documentation for the wiring, any feedback or suggestions to make it clearer would be helpful.

I noticed on both of the setups there is a 5v power supply. Whats a good power supply? 5V I understand but how many Watt and Amp is needed? Thanks for looking! drinks.gif

The 5v is what supplies the optos on the board. The easiest connection would be to run the 5v, 12v and a ground from the psu in the computer. The toys would run off there seperate supplies and that would completely isolate the ledwiz and the board from the supplies for the load.

I usually put all the jumpers on the board and sandwich them between another bare board to hold them aligned while I solder them up (a rubber band secures the whole thing), but you can go cross eyed as much as you like... shutup.gif

Takes me an hour to assemble all the parts and I think the parts come to $50.00 or so including the board..........never said I wasn't a cheap one as well as being easy drinks.gif

Thanks, I have my completely unbiased (and drunken) reviewer in the land of Auz beating up on a few boards for me to show me if I went wrong anywhere.

Nope, the cable doesn't come with it for that price, but I can build some for a couple of dollars more. I'd need to know how long it would need to be before I could quote an exact price, but figure on around $5.00 - $6.00 for one about 12" (30cm) long.

pm me your paypal info and I'll invoice you. As for how many? How many do you need?

For everyone that ordered, your boards have been shipped out. Unfortunately, there are no tracking numbers issued. The estimate I was given was to expect delivery in 7 - 10 days.
Thanks for the orders.
