Need some old EM's and Originals on there also. smile.gif

Here here!! The truth is I really don't play any of the games listed (maybe afm, occasionally). I like to rename my tables as well so it's a problem for me too.

I have the same problem , just re-download this tables.

I like tables of 80's :8 ball deluxe ,xenon , sorcerer and more

So i took your advice and turned off UAC temporarily. Played AFM and it did everything it was supposed to do. Checked the website and it recorded my feeble score. Closed it, went to dinner and when i got home I thought Id try another tournament game. Fired up scared stiff and proceeded to have the GAME OF MY LIFE! 16 mil!!! (prolly nuttin' to all you old school pinball wizards ™ but for me its pretty amazing). Any guesses at how this story ends? When I closed the game, the box popped up just like last time asked me if I wanted to report my score. HELL yeah I wanna report it!! Clicked ok and all seemd to go as it should. I check the site, and its no where to be found. If it didnt grab it, is there any recourse to get my score up there? I havent played anything since. Also, I understand we are tweaking this program out, all part of testing and things just happen with software. Just wanna make sure Im giving proper feedback, thanks!

Hmm very strange as it worked for you earlier....
Maybe you had router-problems/internetconnection lost or something ?

Just try it again.....
My experience is that every time you play a table you get better at it so I have no doubts that you're gonna surpass the 16 Mil.....
If I can score 26 Mil everbody can.... rolleyes.gif

Just for clarification: Sven asked me about the tournaments in PM and I offered him my help to setup, but his gaming computer isn't connected with internet.

Been thinking about the tournament......
Actually it's more a leaderboard....maybe it's better to leave it open and add as many games as I can ?

Have a new version in which you can launch vp8 or vp9
Also all versions of a game are now supported...for instance all version of attack from mars....vp8,vp9,fs,mods...

Also been thinking about adding special scores......
Loop champion that sort of stuff.....

Only problem is how to approach this........
I can just read out the highscore for that.....but that could mean it could have not been scored in the played game....
Or i can read it out when it's different from the highscore at the start of a game....
Downside is that if someone already has it set high then it would be diificult to get a record in....even though it could be high enough to get in.....hope this makes sense......

Any suggestions which of the two methods i should take......

Leaderboard is cool so far. Tournaments can be added later, if and when people come with nice ideas.

Special scores? I don't think that should be an important and your next goal.

I didn't try, but wouldn't start the actual pinemhi_start_tournament.exe VP8?

All versions of a game means they all have an own entry in the highscores?
Depending on the table name?

As long as there aren't too many tables I think it was nice if one can see all scores in an overview site
without the need to chose a table. That wouldn't work anymore if the number of tables increases.

You have 2 executables in the ini-file and can launch in the selection-menu with vp8 or vp9

In the program and on the site the selection has been changed (new version that is)
The selection is now first the name of the game...for instance attack from mars....after that you get to the selection of tables for that game (divided in vp8 and vp9)

Oh and you can also see a list of all highest score per person for all the tables he/she played.....

Did you submit a score below 10 mil ?
Haven't seen it in the database.....
Do you still have problems submitting a score or did you opt for not submitting?

Man what happened that night to your computer facepalm.gif think.gif
Is UAC back on ?
Did you give your firewall temporarily access for the program and it hasn't now or something like that....

There are some players that are in the alien league , Ced's scores are unbelievable and there are lots of us that are in the minor league (me included) pardon.gif

That's also cool. So you can print a list and check if the actual score is better than the one
on the site. But is it also enough to make a better standings?

The more options, the better!

All available with the new version? You will post it here in this thread, right?

I'm afraid there isn't a way to detect whether buy-ins have been used.
In the instructions I asked to just use the normal 3 balls game /no buyins etc....

I hate buy-ins...... nea.gif
That was just introduced to make more money (back in the day)....
The more money you had to spend , the higher you could score.....I for one don't like the concept dry.gif

I can't make the program cheat-proof so just counting on sportmanship , a friendly competition between pinball-fans dblthumb.gif

Maybe we can make up a clear set of rules to let everybody know what to do/not to do when participating.
(now it's just a few lines in the instructions that go with the program to make people aware)

About the buy in's I'm with KloggMonkey.

But to get my AFM_vp9.1x_2.3.1 score I used the extra balls I earned while that game.
I didn't think about before, but now I'm not sure if it was right to submit that score. But
how to circumvent extra balls? Sure I don't manage to place each shot as I want.

As long as it's the original author settings, no nvram changes.
Newer games like AFM give extra balls, just need to use the factory settings that come with the table.
If unsure, delete your nvram, and you should be right.

No reason to be unsure. It's new installation of VP/VPM. I got the "Are you legally entiteled to play ...." question.
No previous nvram there.

And I never played JPSalas AFM before. It was maybe the 5th game.

If and when I play, I play all tables as they come.
