Nice Update JP!. Did you ever get the Playfield redraw that Highlnder00 was doing???

Yes, I received the playfield, but I already had cleaned up one, and once they were reduced to a VP resolution they were almost the same, so I didn't use it.

Cheers JP - love the extra sounds, she's a beauty!!

I think the thanks should go to jimmyfingers who added the b2b sounds. On some tables they are not very easy to add, and this one had vuks, holes, balls on top of each other, ++ And jimmyfingers added all that was necessary to get the b2b working (extra walls and triggers)

Ah ok, just thought the colours on the redraw where alot more vivid and better than the ones that where here in the data base, as they appeared a bit faded??

Yes, I made the playfield darker so the lights looks better smile.gif I always darken a little the playfields.

Hi! I think I found a bug. The ball flew out of the field or something like this. You can download the video of that moment here:

or

This should be useful)

PS: Thanks for the table, JP! I love your works!

Hope it doesn't change too soon as this table is the 2nd of my 8 level GI / lighting MODs and I've been working on it over the last couple months - am 95 % complete. Wanted to get it done for Christmas but real life got in the way wink.gif Just have some small changes left, the conversion back to a standard FS and destkop rotation (mind the rails in these shots), and some testing on a few different systems / OSes before releasing. Likely next week. Here are a few screen captures.

Yah Grizz, that artwork looks pretty cool. I know what you mean with how the blue looks a little unfinished (as if it was traced but never completed by the Williams artists). I had to double check with the ipdb photos / flyers after seeing yours as I thought maybe that was just the VP version but the reall PF is just the same with that half finished look.

I think it looks a little bettter though with some lighting changes to mix up the monotone element and with my MOD things are a little darker anyway when at least the lights go off so it might not matter as much.

Cheers to your MODed PF and I guess that's why you call it a MOD vs. a redraw as you're adding-on and taking over from where the Williams artists put down their paint brushes - too bad they weren't still in busines and hiring wink.gif

If the layout / dimensions are the same as the original, I might be able to retrofit the GI8 Light MOD to it without too much re-work so maybe could offer both versions when the time comes.

Great news guys dblthumb.gif I love BSD and I love the GI8 work you did on SS, Jimmy.!

I was watching this video of EVTPM http://pinball.org/v...party-monsters/ and thought of your GI8 work on SS. A lot of flashing going on here. Was thinking you might think like me it would be cool to complete the Elvira package smile.gif

That is quite the light show for sure. It would be one to consider as after I do a few more over the next few months will start looking again for tables with good light shows - this one is one of the better ones I've seen for that (and the lights aren't even off in the linked video). I actually was trying some google searches on this concept a couple weeks ago out of curiosity. It does appear to have a lot of flashers and flashers are more work and harder on the system / VP than the fading GI so tables with very good GI fading / sectional elements would be preferred first for this reason (at least as far as my planning / time allotment is concerned). People might also start to think if I really did fall in love with Elvira during the course of my last project for Scared Stiff if I did 2 of my first 3 with her as a theme wink.gif

In any case I appreciate yours and anyone else's suggestions and video links for tables that have good light shows. Thanks for the compliment on the SS GI8 release.

I fell in love with her 25 yrs ago wub.gif and I'm not ashamed to say it. Well, maybe a little blush.gif

Yeah those flashers are really wild on EATPM. There's like a pulse to them (innuendo intended) as they swirl around the table. The skull lights are cool too.

As i say I love JP's BSD so really looking forward to this one. Thanks for doing it!

Thanks JP for all your hard work,

Just tried getting BSD FS to work, and I got two or more square decals showing up, I think I can play this table in HR or without but I must be missing something. check out square objects that should be on the playfield but loom above the slings and cover the inlanes and the black diverter above I think is wrong as well.

I have  an ATI radeon 4650 HD 1 gig

VP91.3, or 4 in video options I have

ATI card checked, HR or not no difference or 16bit or 32 bit resolutions doesnt matter still there. any clues would be appreciated
