Hey bob,
If you run setup.exe or setup64.exe from your vpinmame directory, you see what version you use.
In the subdirectory 'pinemhi leaderboard' a log file will be created.
If the monitor is started, the log file will becdeleted and when a pinmame game starts, it should create a file and shows that a game is started.
When stopping the vpinmame game, it should create another entry and will check if the score will be submitted

I see you've created an account , so that's step 1

I can't see any scores coming in for your account on the server though

 

Have you got the pinemhi_rom_monitor running ?
That is the executable that detects which game you play (actually the romname) and then passes the score when you exit the game
This has to be started first before playing a game

 

Many of us that have a cab will have that automatically started at windows startup.
Mike da Spike has a good solution for that,, he described it on gameex website i think

 

If you have the pinemhi_rom_monitor started already then i suggest the tip from Mike da Spike to see if anything is in the logfiles and perhaps post it here

 

 

PinemHi is still being worked on but wanted to add too much games at a time and because of the testing of all the roms and the troubles i had with certain older type games i got tired of it

Should really be getting in to it again

P.S. i saw your video on youtube an i think i know why the scores aren't registering
The 3rd character of your code should be an l (from lucifer) and not a 1

Okay, maybe it is my password and code. But I am fairly sure that its not an I but a 1. I screen shot the code, and my name is Luc1f3rb0b 
 

I've tried both. 

 

I'm running 3.6.0 on my VpinMame

Check http://www.pinemhi.com/hiscores.php for all the rom names and games working. Some roms are still not integrated yet. Apollo 13 should work. Just make sure your paths are pointing to the right folders. Make sure the (/) is at the end of each path too that would make it not work. Also you do need an internet connection while playing so it can update on the standings.

Maybe we should try that first before we search for other possible reasons

 

 

If you copy pasted the code then you can stick with the first one as that would be the right one

 

 

oh and perhaps also update the pinemhi.ini to work well with vpinmame 3.6

 

New pinemhi.ini version (can be used up to vpinmame 3.6)

 

Rename your old pinemhi.ini

 

rename this new one to pinemhi.ini (it's now a txt file, ini is not allowed as a download)

and cut and paste your settings into the new one (basically all above [romfind]

That las bit about having a (/) after each path might have been the problem. hitting the hay right now, but will fire up in the morning and see if that change did the trick. Sort of glad I'm having this small problem, in case others too make such minor mistakes. Which I am hoping this solves the issues. Thanks again. Yes, going to update the pinemhi.ini to the newest list, fix the missing (/) and I am hoping I am good to go. Again, glad I had these minor problems, that way I know how to help others in case they also make some minor mistakes or need to update their .ini file. I'll let you know in in the morrow or soon after, if I have success or not with these alterations. Thanks again.

Finally,

I am done testing (the early bally'games are a disaster but i got them working)
Now adding some missing badges for special scores on about 20 games (mostly gottlieb) that still needed to be done

I wonder how many have the badges turned on on their cabinet,,,haha maybe i'm just doing it just for myself
