Thanks wrd1972 for a fantastic recreation of a game that until now has not captured my imagination. I now love playing it even though my scores are way below the big scorers here.
I cannot wait to play the real one when I next see it!

Everyone,
Any thing else you all would like to see tweaked on Funhouse? I am planning to release rev_e with the new upper flipper settings that I provided here several days ago. Please let me know ASAP. I would like to release it tonight.

I like the play with the E Version, One question though. Are the slingshots that sensitive on the real table? I have never played one. I know I can adjust them to my liking but would like to keep it as close to the real table as possible.

I'm just wondering if it is really that easy to trap on the right flipper from the kicker-hole. If you don't flip it will hit right flipper, left flipper - bounce off sling and come to almost perfect angle to cradle on the right flipper.
From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Thal,
Here is a diagram of the three common paths (on my real FH) of the ball once Rudy spits the ball out. It can be any of these at any time.

The only easy way to trap the ball is have it bounce off of the metal wall and then try to trap it with the right flipper. The problem is, the others balls are quickly heading toward the flippers area so trying to focus on the 1st ball, leaves the others likely to drain. Even I dont have an effective strategy for the first ball out. I typically have to play the three balls best as possible and once your down to two, you can employ strategy such as catching the balls on both flippers and concentrate on opening and hitting the trapdoor for the million plus scores.
In short, when three balls are on the table, its just chaos till one drains.

Oh, yes, that is sooooo correct. ![]()
Here is a PAPA-tutorial and you can see very good the real physics.

I think you've made a very good job.
The only thing for me is, the reducing of the elasticity of the left and right flipper.
As you see in the video, it's much easier to catch a ball, while it is not so much bouncing.

Joey,
Change elasticity for those two flippers to .75 and tell me what you think. Or tell me what you think works the best.

I see now how clumsy I was in explaining where exactly I was talking about - sorry.
The reason for asking this is mostly, because non moving flippers could maybe tell us something about friction, elasticity etc.
