Am I remembering correct that UW also did a Gorgar? Just saying in case you can't get permission to mod on this one.

Sorry for the slow down on table updates but I have sold my cab again (people love it and I always want more) So I will be building another. And I just started working on another mame cabinet so I have been busy :)

Hey Loaded Weapon.  What happened to the Gorgar table?   From the looks of your screen shot it was almost done.   Did it turn into a permission to mod issue?

Hi Loaded

Thank you for the lovely tables especially Fish Tales.

Why do the wire ramps near the top of the table look jagged and not round? my resolution is 1280 x 1024

I'm unable to comprehend the table authors who refuse permission to respected modders. doesn't that go against what a community driven platform is about ? so we are denied LW's night mod treatment for GORGAR cause the original table author doesn't want to share ? Sorry, but that's just a bit mean spirited. everyone that has played any of LW night mods can see what respectful treatment any table gets. I will have to say BOOOOOO on this decision.
and I should add, that GORGAR is a fantastic table. But a night mod by LW would breathe new life into a table that I almost never play any more. Having people enjoy and play your table - correct me if I'm wrong - isn't that the main aim of making a table in the first place ?

You have to keep in mind that in the process of recreating a table there is much work for one or more people, some authors can take between 3-6 months to make a table, that takes a lot of work, time and research.
Excuse me but I think you are being selfish by not respecting the decision of the author.
In my case all my tables can be changed without my permission, but not all authors think the same way ..

"Aprender sin pensar es inútil, pensar sin aprender es peligroso". (Confucio)

Please, if you can help me with a small contribution to update my work team and continue to make more tables I will be eternally grateful.

Saludos Javier!

I see both sides and it does takes alot of time to build a table tho almost everything we use is someone elses work, but that is the site rules so we must respect that...

Your mod is based on the table of UncleReamus and Noah...

Why not choose the version of unclewilly, it's a nice recreation also.

interesting. My opinion that you labeled selfish is actually based on a desire of putting the community before the author. Whereas, an author not giving permission, is putting themself before the community. so, I wonder, how do we define selfish ? Maybe the lesson is, not to label either the author, (my fault) or an end user expressing their opinion (your fault. )

In the short time I have been a part of the community, it seems to me the two opposing sides on this issue will never agree. I appreciate LoadedWeapon's view on this and because the site rules here state it so, we should respect them as such. Authors who have worked on their tables have ultimate say whether they allow for mods of their work. Whether we agree on that or not, it's the rules here and we respect them. Period. End of story. Move on.

LoadedWeapon, I have many of your night mods and love them! Thank you for all the work and for sharing them.

I do not want to mess thread with another discussion, but the rules are clear. "You can not release a mod without the author's permission." Whether we agree or not.

Selfish for me would be: the authors recreate the tables and not ever released.
