Ok I'm at a loss.  Latest version installed as per above, TrackIR 5 drivers loaded and working great with FP.

However when I run FPLoader (BAM) I do not see the ability to change the Plugin mode to anything but Freetrack.

When I go into Config->Plugins it says "No PLugins".  I can't get this to change at all (Arrows, Enter, etc).

---

Windows 7 64, FP installed in default C:\Games\Future Pinball\ directory, Arcade mode enabled and Track IR enabled.

Plugins are in the proper plugins directory as per default install (C:\Games\Future Pinball\BAM\plugins) and yes TrackIR.dll is in there.  Everything is default that way.

No Anti Virus installed yet, its a fairly fresh install.  UAC is disabled.

---

Any ideas?

Thanks

   Tim

I did not test TrackIR for over year. I have no idea if they change something in current version.

Anyway: In Config->Plugins are only "non-head-tracking-plugins", like PostFX. You should switch mode/plugin to TrackIR in first line of main menu.

BAM Update:

This tool for example is show impact eval and execute commands in script on game performace when any AV programs is present.

- Custom models:

Hi Rav!  Long time no speak! ;)  I've just returned to the hobby after a prolonged absence and here I see you are still plugging away on your mod.  Well done, although I'm focusing on VP to start off (about 25 hours into the software rebuild! :() I'm looking forward to checking out FP again (especially in VR since I know there's a mod for that too!).

Well done on your continued work and appreciate all you've done for the FP community.

Hey,

What would be great is a new plugin for PrimeSense devices. Similar to Kinect but working for Asus and Carmine versions.

Would it be possible to develop ?

Thanks

I was rude not to introduce myself first.

I built a nice Visual Pinball machine, widebody with a 43" FHD screen. You can see the project here (in French because, well, I am French)

All works nice, pretty amazing really and the next step would be to add 3D support to the beast.

Unfortunately, the PrimeSense Carmine & Asus are not (yet) supported, but I have strong hopes that they will be in the near future.

Meanwhile, I plugged a PSEye and it is recognized with the pluggins as indicated on page 33 of this thread.

flip.png

BUT, there is always a but, unlike what I read, I have no green box that proves that the stuff is seeing me. I can see myself, so the PSEye is working but without identification.

Any quick basic advice ?

Thanks

Update.

- bug fixes
- custom camera for desktop users.
- custom camera controlled by script.
- camera animation sequencer (https://youtu.be/hnIiXPnxQwE).
- physics params can be set for individual objects on table (walls, flippers).
Syntax:
xBAM.Physics.SetMaterial "Objectname", elasticCoef, softnessCoef, staticFriction, kineticFriction
- some errors in script are now reported to debug window (when game is started with F9), so if you mistype name of object or texture in commands: xBAM.SetTexture or xBAM.Physics.SetMaterial you will get some info.

BAM_v1.4-207 also allows you to lock a custom view into place.  Pressing F11 allows you to change the view with the mouse and WASD keys.  Then you can press F11 a second time to lock the view into place.

This allows you to use the manual ball roller without changing the view.

Thanks Rav!

George

:-(
We need this with VPX. Maybe when VPX is running with DirectX 11.

This would also work easily already with DX9.. VPX needs to get rid of static rendering, but note that this will harm performance notably on some of the tables!

I don't think BAM could easily be made to work with programs other than FP.  This version fixes a memory leak that has been with FP since FP was written.  Ravarcade is basically changing the FP program one step at a time.  This version adds shadow maps.  Previous versions have added new script coding.  How would you go about making all this work with VP or other programs?  It doesn't seem possible to me.

George

One could 'simply' add the same to VPX, too, but this requires some preliminary work to enable all of these efforts..
