The strong Slingshots make me very nervous. I have no particular tips, but you must try to stay cool.

Sounds like a good idea for ANY game. For me, the cooldown food would most probably be pretzels. Anyway...

This brings me to an idea I actually had a few days ago, and that is how to judge when a highscore within the leaderboard is really impressive instead of just merely good? A lot of highscores that are posted there are also on tables that nobody else has yet played or only by a few, so they could be more or less "starting points" without being really hard to beat. I posted my Groni Funhouse score of about 40M for example and that was beat sound and squarely within a few days and now stands at 113M. Which high scores do we deem to be very hard or impossible to break?
My list (and it's a small and personal one because I am not that familiar with a lot of tables, especially the EM ones but also others) :

- Bolt's score on Jack*bot. It was discussed a few posts earlier and although I have reached 10B myself, I feel that his score of 12B is going to stand for a long time. This score seems frustratingly close yet so far out of reach and has to do with the fact that the table is an incredible, fickle drain monster. Those slingshots are all over the place (and are far too reactive I think in comparison with the real life table) and the rubber at the outlanes tend to guide the balls to the outlane rather than from.
- Ceto's score of 113M on Funhouse will be a hard one to break because it is also a little drain monster and it takes a lot of coordination to score trapdoor jackpots without losing balls.
- Ylb and Karlojule scores on AFM (Groni and JP versions). I had a 125B game on the VP8 version that in my opinion is way easier than both the VP9 versions.
- Keranas 650M on MM is impressive, although with my last game of 470M I feel that score is beatable, but still hard to do just because of the sheer stamina it will require
- The only thing that I have on the leaderboards myself that I think is hard to beat is my Ring Time on the VP8 LOTR of 16.29 secs. I know Bolt scored more than my 800M on that table so although it's a nice score, he already beat it but I think he lost his screenshot or something

How about your idea's? Let's hear them!

PS: the trick on Jack*Bot -and you all know that probably, because it's well documented in the rule sheet-, is "cheating" which is actually built into the game mechanics. Repeatedly press "2" in all casino games will sometimes yield maximum results. It also works in Casino Run when you get a bomb. This will only work once and as far as I know only with bombs that appear in the middle column. Otherwise you'll have to use the bucket of water. And always try to double up your scores by hitting under the ramp. It's not so difficult a shot to master from both flippers.

Did you know that "playing pinball" is called "flipperen" in Dutch? Now you know and may your life be enriched by this arcane knowledge....

WORKS !!! :

10.7M

not always, but it "cheat" sometimes (too lol)
the fact is that (as in a real casino) you always want more... and than get bombed at my second casino run with more than 1M pts collected...

btw, now the Bolt's score doesnt seems unbeatable

You did 12B without cheats? Man, that's just insane! And Ripleyyy proves again that he's one of the best players around, because getting to 14B in just 2 posts worth of time is incredible! That's the last time I give advice..... tongue3.gif Sorry about that Bolt...

This is not a problem for me Slam23,
RipleYYY is one of the best players in the forum, perhaps the best.
It was only a matter of time before he is breaking that record.

@RipleYYY
Congratulations my friends to this great new score on Jack-Bot.

They are talking about the cheat option in Jackbot. This is a "legal" cheat since it is a part of the game rules.

You would press the buy-in ball button (2 on your keyboard) to activvate the cheat on any of the casino games or in Casino Run when you hit either the top left hole for the casino games or either of the eye holes under the visor (or the top left hole) during Casino Run.

to evbd : tanx, sorry, cool & lol (pick up the one you think its for you) wink.gif

OK than, will than give MY advice for JACKBOT (as we are here to compete, but to compete in a good & fun spirit) : in the casino run, dont wait for "too much", i do this rule : when you got the EB offer enable, dont go further and stop there : better a ball more to play than ... no point all !

and this other general advice i already told : when you dont have a (very) "good" 1st ball, dont finish that game, just restart a new one directly wink.gif
