I keep the pinDMD dll up to date with PinMAME's SVN. Any fixes on the SVN will appear in this dll, too...
I havent seen anything about cleaning up sound emulation though. Lately they've only been adding games.
Latest cabinet dll with pinDMD integration here!

Used Future Electronics as well.
Got the red segmented display as is was the cheapest and it looks fantastic.
It is the one pictured a couple of pages back with the Addams Family running on it.
Could not be happier with it.

Yes, they were in stock back then. But with 35 people suddenly needing DMD's they sold through their stock rather quickly. Might be worth a call to see when they well have more.

Close Encounters of the Third Kinds shows a blank DMD. Hidden is set to 0.

Russ do you want to know the tables with problems? I am not complaining at all, I LOVE THIS PRODUCT (Just ordered another DMD for new project)

I modded the CLOSE ENCOUNTERS VP_9.1xx by serpiko to work Full Screen if that helps. Did I miss something?

I just updated to the latest firmware and dll. Amazing. The new size for the larger DMD's works very well. Good enough for me!

The ghosting pixels are still there, but they seem to be dimmer than the previous firmware so that's good. It seems to be tied to when something runs to the top of the screen and nothing is in those same columns on the bottom. If you do a DMD test you can actually stop it and see it in action. Personally....I don't think it's too bad.

So far every game I played worked great. The voice emulation is indeed better on Centaur/Embryon too smile.gif

I was looking through your documentation for the LED scripting. Are the 4 brightnesses of pixels controlled by the ROM or Pinmame (I know Pinmame only has 3+off)? Could we actually add more pixel dimness for our own logos displaying outside of VP?
