Just had a Dracula 5 min game, and the program did stop, so I just didn't wait enough yesterday. Sorry for this DNA.

However, I did submit the score, but I see nothing on the site or on twitter

Edit : drac_l1.nv is the last accessed file in nvram folder so it shouldnt come from timestamp

Edit2 : another 5 min with lotr, submitted but not in the website. What's weird is that lotr.nv last access time is ok (7:22 pm), but there's a  term3.nv with 7:23pm, whereas I didn't launch this table today

Edit3 : cftbl_l4.nv lastaccess 7:25pm now, I didn't even launch VP or anything ?

Hi guys,

This is really not the way as i had in mind.
That's way too much loss of data...
If this happens to everybody then this program is on a dead track.

I never have any loss of data though...
Maybe it's something different in configuration, firewall or ...

@dbeedle
Dave , have you experienced the same , with exception to CV no game played as of late?
Or are all you submissions going ok.

I think I played all the new ones yesterday just to get something out there.  With the exception of CV and TOTAN, all went though.  I just noticed TOTAN and I believe I submitted a score but there is nothing listed on the scores page.  I could be mistaken on that one though.  Could be I didn't actually submit or something. I'll be able to give it a try again this evening. I'll be sure to give the 5 minute mode a try also.

BTW, where does it tweet to?  I saw the Twitter thing in the config but haven't investigated that yet.

Just consider this a shakedown cruise DNA.  We'll shake out the bugs with ya!

I really didn't change anything in the basic program, i'm really curious if you had similar problems say for the last half year or so...so not just as of late..

Thanks for giving it a try later on...
If you search pinemhi on twitter you'll get all the tweets from everybody who has it turned on.

Just finished a few games and had no issues.  TOTAN I had not played, didn't even have the right table installed. I did try a couple 5 minute modes, one I lasted the 5 minutes, exited as expected and posted, the other posted after exiting.  Other than the CV thing it seems to be working OK for me.

One curiosity...I had to adjust the mask again back to 40!  Must be something changing on my cabnet but I haven't noticed what it is.  Fortunatly it can be adjusted as needed.

Hi,
I joined up last night on the website, received my "code" entered it in my ini file, seemed like i was all set. Set up the front-end, played a game of Cirqus Voltaire because i noticed that there weren't any scores for it, after i played my game I received the message from Pinemhi that the score was submitted successfully.  But i don't see it on the website? nor do i see my name in the dropdown of players.    Any info would be great, oh yeah great idea on this software.  Hope it catches on.  The next step would be to actually play VP multiplayer, now that would really kick-ass.

Keep up the good work...

Hi Shredhed,

Cirqus voltaire is the one that actually doesn't work as jpsalas use a new rom that isn't working yet in pinemhi.
You should really try out some other games to see if it's working for you.

Make sure you have the lastaccess timestamp enabled....not default on 'on' when using xp , win7 vista

I guess I posted some problems with the new separate FS PINemHI leaderboard.  Weird happenings with ERROR  popups that wipe out the taskbar.  It seems to be running in the background but not displaying anything.  I have been using the old PINemHI leaderboard GREEN H type icon to play PINemHI FULLSCREEN as table type in the config files.  When I put a shortcut on the desktop of the very same ICON it doesn't work.  I have to open Windows Explorer and go to the file and find the PINemHI icon and then it will work, but not off of a shortcut from the desktop.????   Weird.

I have issue with the new AFM2.4. The old one 2.31 played well for me because,  I have a 1gig ATI radeon 4650 Video Card, but  my computer is an HT 3.0gig processor but it is on a Dell Dimension 8400 from 2003.  Have upgraded, memory, video card but I still have to play all DMD tables with HR Hardware Rendering off. I also have to have 16 bit instead of 32 bit checked on the video resolution chart.  This works well for me though the ramps on some tables are hashed instead of nice and clear transparency.  I have complete lag and voice stuttering(repeating with HR on)  Unfortunately JP's AFM 2.4 will not play unless HR is on.  I get a green overlapped playfield except a little bit of the flipper area.  So I now cannot compete on that table.

You should be careful not to eliminate some players with the ATI cards from competing, tho I realize the Full Screen section, most people have the latest and greatest computer, video, pinball wizard controllers, and cabinets etc etc.

I cannot go back to desktop now after getting it all to work on my

47 inch vizio.   Dont have to put on my reading glasses to play on the old 19 hitachi crt!!!! LOL.

.  Now I can play T2 chrome edition no problems and it is a graphically intensive table but doesnt have transparent ramp issue or stuttering with HR off and still looks stunning, so it must be built differently.

Likewise I can play all the B2S gottlieb EM tables from Pinuck, in their beautiful glory as they are not as intensive, like ProPool, etc.

Also there are issues with Baywatch, where the ball disappears halfway up the center ramp at the end of the blue section.  Also it gobbles an occasionaly ball on the left ramp where the lock is and then stalls/ ball search and terminates the ball and ruins the game.  Not everytime but an issue.

All my tables are on my original 500GB  C: Hard Drive, but the PINemHI leaderboard is on my larger 1 TB Hard Drive.  Could that be an issue?

There indeed must be something running in the background.

I played LOTR yesterday so lotr.nv is normally accessed by Vpinmame.

The two others, Terminator 3 and CFTBL are tables I did play one day earlier, so I got no idea why they were accessed yesterday. Do PinemHi exe access these files in order to check/update the new .hi files ?

Okay, some relief...as an edit to my previous post;

I deleted my PINemHI FS folder completely and redownloaded the 2.1.1 version and reset up all the paths and put them in the same Hard Drive with the tables under program files/ PinemhiFS , clicked on the green H and everything worked well.  hmmmm

Must have been some issues with the differing Hard Drives

However,  I right clicked on the green H icon to PIn to start menu and when I tried to access it from scatch on the start menu, I got the same ERROR.  so in the future I will just have to open up explorer and open the Green H icon from within PINemHIFS folder...werd tho...

The green h is autohotkey....to get pinemhi working it expects to have the exe files in the same dir...
The taskbar can occur when you get an error with the autohotkey script as i make it disappear.....i let it reappear when you close it.
But if you get an error then it stays gone.... Easiest way to fix it is start pinemhi again and then exit.. It will be there again.

The new afm table is selected because it fixes the ball count issue with multiball....
But you can still set scores on the older table.... Only it doesn't count for the cup...
What you can do is open games.xml , put the old table in place of the new version and don't forget to remove alt from the execution line..
Watch out for any typo's , best way is to cut and paste the name of the old table.. If the name isn't correct the score doesn't come through.

Great to see you've got it working properly with the internal disk.
As for tables that don't work properly (baywatch), there is nothing i can do about that..just wait for a new versiont hat hasn't got issues...

Yeah that's a weird issue...the .hi files are only created when leaving a game thus accessing the nvram of the game played last
it writes the .hi files to the dir after playing and only for that game that has been played so that couldn't be it.
.Maybe you got a virusscan running or something like that...

Did you check your name and code for typo's as this could also be the reason that the scores aren't coming through..as you haven't submitted any after the upgrade this could be the culprit.

That could be because your firewall is blocking it or
the timestamp lastaccess for files isn't turned on.....when you set it to on you must also reboot the pc to take effect.
If you changed it to on and then immediately played a game then this could have caused it.

It could also be because of a typo on your name or code in the ini file.
They can only get checked when they reach the database so it submits it but when it wants to access the database it gets rejected as the name or code is not recognized...

:drinks:

P.S. Your name will appear in the list when you entered your first score.
You can however find your name in the challenges already

Ok I've ensured that UAC is off, I rebooted after setting timestamp, and made my CAB a DMZ on my router.  I played a game of Cactus Canyon, Submitted my score, got the message it submitted succesfully, but still not on website..

If it is my username/code, how can i verify it??

If you could send me your ini file using pm i can take a look...
Another possibility could be that the nvram directory is not correct...

Just an odd idea for Shredhed, I've had it claim to report a score but not report a score when I had VP running before Pinemhi.  You're not running VP before Pinemhi are you?  Just an idea...

Hi,  If you mean manually double-clicking and running VP before i run PinemHi no...  I just run Pinemhi and play table thru the front-end.  But hey thanks for the input..... :-)
