Can confirm issues with T-Rex on JP.

Not able on my desktop machine running Win7 64bit and native pinmame any of the issues reported for LW3 or SW.

LW3

SW

https://www.dropbox....wr_104.avi?dl=0

- Looking at this afterwards - at 2:20, is there a reset of the dmd of sorts ?

Yes Thalamus at 2:20 it reports display version again this is what lethal weapon 3 does then no score at all

Thanks a lot! So we're down to the 128x32 DE machines. Cool!

Did anybody test the 128x16 machines? (Batman, Hook, Checkpoint, TMNT. Were there more?)

Oh, and do the 128x32 Sega machines (Apollo13, X-Files, Starship Troopers, ID4, etc) work well?

If anybody else (or you) have more testing data, please still bring it on.

This is all so extremely helpful to have many people looking at/testing this.

So, if anyone finds any Sys11/DE/Stern/Sega based-machine acting up, please post it here.

(so far we have the theory that its only affecting 128x32 DE machines, e.g. SW, LW3, JP)

(experimental build here: https://www.vpforums...27063&p=446288)

Twister and Star Wars Trilogy seem to work fine, the moving filing cabinet works in X-Files which I imagine is quite complicated, but they're Whitestar so I'm not sure they'd be affected by this?

Could you please test LAH and Rocky&Bullwinkle?

Cause i by now would suspect these are broken, too.  (but cannot check myself at the moment :/)

Thanks!

Rocky&Bullwinkle some of the animations are not trigering on the ramps and got the display version pop up halfway through a game.

LAH seemed to cut scenes eg extra ball cut off halfway through the scene.

Okay, thanks! So it seems all to be related to the older DMD controller board, although the net claims that the old and new ones should be interchangeable (minus a jumper setting for ROMs).

Nevertheless, if everything fails then i'll add these games separately and just have the improvements affect all the newer games.   :)

Thanks a lot again, and please keep on testing (GnR and WWF would be nice to know to complete that theory).

GNR seems fine WWF as i said earlier regarding switch but would need someone else to check as it might be an in game screen.

They have already said it for other tables of the same family, even for baywatch the timing is now fine,

the other video mode (running on the beach) I don't know if the speed is right, I have never seen the real one.

I was in the middle of a multiball, and it changed to another mode for no reason, then it got messed up because there were too many balls in the game,
it's the first time something like this happens to me, I think it is due to the new beta VPM, but who knows.

If you mean in WWF when switched on when high power coin door error as part of the boot sequence, this is a known rom issue which has been around forever apparently, if it is a driver error then it's always been there. :)

This was happening in Baywatch? And with the build from https://www.vpforums...=27063&p=446288 ?

I think i'm now down to just LW3 glitching, will post another build tomorrow for you guys to test/verify. If this works out i'll add a special case for LW3 and then call it a day.  :)

So from my limited tests, this one now only glitches LW3 and R&B..

But please again test Sys11 and DE/Sega hardware (all DE 128x16 and Sega 192x64 HW, and then 128x32 DE games from LW3 to G'N'R (see full game list, also including some segmented display DE machines, on http://smiley.tzo.co...uide-index1.htm)) to be sure..

The 128x32 Segas and Sterns are not affected by this change here and will react same as the earlier dll-only build..

EDIT: removed file nowadays

LW3 still blanks out score but seems better speed as skill shot is not as fast and looks to be same as real machine will test others

Rocky and Bullwinkle still not right not everything triggering and display version popping up during play

Everything else seems ok Looks to be just LW3 and Rocky and Bullwinkle

S11 : Working - Funhouse, Elvira, Bugs Bunny, Dr Dude

DE Segmented : Back to the future, Simpsons - Working

128x16 : Working - Star Trek 25th, Batman (1991), TMNT, Hook

128x32 : Jurassic Park, Tales From the Crypt, Last Action Hero, Guns & Roses - Working

128x32 : Star Wars stwr_107 - Score blanks, trigger animations OK

128x32 : Lethal Weapon - Worked fine for a couple of games, then rebooted, score blanked straight away. Trigger animations OK, skill shot now (correctly) slower, Travis fist fight now actually winnable!
