In my case, PinemHi recognizes the keys on an attached keyboard (wireless keyboard) but my cabinet buttons do nothing to interact with PinemHi. They work just fine after a table is selected but to change from table to table or start a game I have to use the keyboard.  I use the Mot-ion Plunger/adapter in a VirtuaPin cabinet.  Can the keys can be mapped to use the Mot-ion adapter?

The resolution on the cabinet is 1920 x 1080 using an Nvidia Gforce GTX 460.

Hi Dave ,

Thanks for the explanation.
I'll see what i can do about the mot-ion adapter and the graphics.
Exit was not a problem on your cab using pinemhi ?

Good news, i have made mapping possible for all keys.
Tested it on my own cab...it works when you set the flippers to a joy button...for example Joy2

That's also good news for ANDROID as he had problems with the hardcoded e as an exit key...

Will put some more work into because the image problem is somewhat strange.
If i fix it on my cab then on the other pc it will look ugly.....

I decided to make an entry in the ini-file called mask so that everybody can adjust it to correct it.
Not the most ideal solution but it will do the job.

I'll put it in this thread when the new version can be downloaded.

Excellent!  Thanks for all the effort!  Exiting pinemhi: I've just used the escape button on the keyboard.  Some time ago I did make an adjustment for hyperpin to exit correctly.  I believe it was posted here...could be on the hyperspin forums though...I moved one of the pins on the connector to an unused one to avoid the conflict and adjusted the definition in the hyperpin INI file.  If I remember right, I use Joy16 for exit on hyperpin but I'd have to look to be sure.

Will keep an eye out for the new version!

Here it is, the FS version of pinemhi leaderboard (resolution of 1920x1080 recommended)

- All keys can be mapped to other keys or joystickbuttons (Mot-ion adapter)

If you have a small graphical problem just next to the wheel-images you can try to correct that by increasing or decreasing the value at mask (in the ini-file)

Have fun

New version looks good!  It works nicely with the keys defined for the Mot-ion adapter and tweaking the mask makes it look purdy too!  I had to set it to 40.  Good stuff!

Hi ANDROID,

Maybe you put the two in the same dir ?
The FS should be in a separate dir.
If it still occurs you can send a pic of the ini-file , only the part with the key-mapping is necessary.

I have upgraded the desktop version to 2.1 as well so you can use the key-mapping on that one too.

New version  PINemHi Leaderboard 2.1.1  released (and also the FS version)

Here are the download links (uploaded to vpforums this time) :

http://www.vpforums....s&showfile=7260

http://www.vpforums....s&showfile=7262 (this is the FS-version)

PinemHi Leaderboard V2.1.1

Whats new in version 2.1.1

-Updated all the tables to their newer versions
This means that the old scores will be retired (you can still submit scores if you use an older version and look up the scores, but they don't count for points on the leaderboard anymore)

-You can choose another executable for certain tables , using vp9alt= in the ini-file.
In games.xml you can put ALT in the execution line so that it will use the other executable for that table.
Already filled them for :
Attack from Mars
Cirqus Voltaire
Cue Ball Wizard
(as they all use the new vp914 exe)

The FS table Terminator 2 (from Tipoto) also uses the new vp914 exe but I haven't changed the execution to ALT in games.xml as I think most people use pinemhi leaderboard not using FS and the VP9 version still uses vp912.
So if you are using pinemhi Leaderboard on FS please change Terminator 2 in games.xml setting <execute>ALT</execute> at the Terminator 2 entry.

*** If you downloaded the FS-version this one is already filled for terminator 2 ***

-Hiscores are being saved as a .hi file in the Hiscores directory (they are basically just txt files so you can read the using notepad)
Just put it in there for future-use but maybe some of you like to do something with this already.

Whats new in version 2.1

-Mapping can be done to all keys (keys for start , exit , leftflipper and rightflipper added to ini-file)

Have fun,

Your scores aren't gone.....i wouldn't dare... :bye2:
You can find them in the retired hiscores section.

I'll see if i can make a list of the games that changed...( 17 normal + fs = around 34 total i guess..)
You can see which table you need to download in the errorlog if you try to start one that you haven't got.
Also you can look at games.xml , there you can see all the tables that are used.

Also realized that the site comes up with "games you have not played" under your name submit.

I know my scores are retired, but will take many hrs to redo to that level with the new versions  :aggressive:

:friends:

The new JP tables stutter and are unplayable. Nnnnnnoooooooo.

Trying out the new version and updating tables and have found that Cirqus Voltaire always tells me that there was no game played.  The others that I have tried so far do just fine. Is there sokething I need to do to make CV happy?

I also found today that I had to adjust the mask again. Down to 8 this time. I didnt change any display settings though I think I recieved a Windows update.

I'll have a look at CV.
Strange about the mask but luckily it can be adjusted.

I' m working on badges you can earn by the way... Try to collect them all.... :)
I worked on the challenges so if anyone notices something gone wrong please tell me...
For instance when you can see the hiscore on the website but you didn't get a level-up

I just gave it a try yesterday to the new FS version & it works fine, thanks DNA !

Only thing is that the 5 minutes mode does not stop the game after 5 minutes. I noticed there's no "5 min" specific exe in the FS folder, that might explain this ?

Hi xio,

The 5 minute mode is incorporated in the normal version since 2.0 so no 5min exe needed anymore.
I tried it after reading your post but it works for me...
You are sure you saw the red 5 minute mode before starting the game ?
Could you tell me what table it was, so i can try it out with the same table ?

I started the badges thing and guess what, turns out you have the most...coming soon to a theatre near you :)

@dbeedle... I figured out why CV is not working, JPsalas used a new rom that pinemhi doesn't support yet....
I will add it and put out a fix for it soon..

I tried the 5 minute mode with Baywatch (I'm sure there was the red text, as I pressed M until it appears). My game didn't last long (maybe 3 min, don't know). Then I waited for VP to close by itself, but it didn't happen. Maybe I didn't wait long enough but it feels like it was much more than 5 min since I started the game.

I even tried with another table but can't remember which one it was : when I ESCaped the table (> 5 minutes also) it asked me to submit the score (with 5 minutes red text), I said OK but I don't see it in the tweets.

I'll do some more testing when I get home.

I'm glad to hear that I got many badges, but got no idea what it means :D

Is this on your cabinet?
Is the lastaccess timestamp set to on on this pc...that could cause the problem with not sending the score.
The other problem why it's not closing after 5 minutes , i don't have a clue at the moment.

Maybe someone else could try the 5min mode on Pinemhi FS ?

Did you know that you can stop the 5min mode game with The exit button...you don't have to wait till 5 minutes are gone..
So when you're done after 3 minutes just press the exit button...it will still count as a 5 min score.
Glad you didn't though as clearly something goes wrong

Ive noticed in the desktop version, since 2.0 that if I submit a score, it uploads to the site and if I play again, it will say score submitted but not be recorded.

Have had to exit the program and start again for it to work again. Even then it doesnt always work. Did this a lot while in 5 min mode.

Tried the new version last nite to go thru the new tables and about 4 didnt register scores, but said score submitted.
