Understood, but could you please quickly check my variant that i posted above ( https://sourceforge....ripts/FPVPX.vbs )? And test it?

So that i don't screw up anything obvious? (from my tests all tables that use this seemed to work, but then again i cannot trigger each an every script part with some quick tests)

Toxie, Fuzzel feature request.

 

There are times where I could really use a memo pad to simply write some notes on. What would be cool would be a "memo" object (much like a wall or ramp) that could be placed where desired, open to size, and typed to as needed - very similar to memo in MS excel.

 

Anything like this possible?

I think that's not a problem. Something like a floating dialog what you can just enter text that is also saved with the table?

Maybe also neat in the sense that one could for example make notes whats still left to do/to improve, also for potential modders.

could switch it to notepad.exe and a single .txt file, i just happen to use notedpad++ and sessions

I notice that the drop targets and bumpers ring piece reflection isn't showing on the VPX. Is this normal on the beta?

Yep. See it missing. Poles and the ring. lol

 

On a target I turn off Can Drop and then it showing. Turn it back on. Target vanish on the reflection. Just showing what behind the target. Funny thing is that this pink wall is showing with the Can Drop on. No picture on it.

 

(Edit: I did a test on a drop target. Yep the image reflection can't be shown on the table. Only without a image.)

Well, that is unusual
You can not actually set reflection enabled on targets
it just turns right back off after checked.

 

@Toxie

 

new bug?

Target object, check reflections enabled.

Come back and select that target again, and reflections are disabled.

Create in 10.6, reflections enabled by default
save table, load in 10.7, reflection is now disabled, and you can not turn them on.

And they do not reflect in game in 10.7 but do in 10.6

Might be same in bumpers, but not sure at the moment
the checkmark remains on bumpers, but not sure if 10.7 is honoring the checkmark

rev4300 is up:

 

- fix Reflection Enabled option for targets
- use const instead of dims (VPMKeys.vbs)
- fix layers list issue when multiple tables are loaded and one is closed
- update FPVPX.vbs
- when modifying the table-script, check if it was loaded from an external .vbs, and if yes, then save the modifications to that file (and only optionally to the .vpx table itself)
- also search for table-script replacements (i.e. external .vbs with the same/table name) in the "Scripts" folder to match the core script behavior

I will use these instead of the walls. I thought these walls until I saw what those are.

You probably will want to use those rather than wall targets as they look nicer and have built in animation, but you should still get reflections
of a wall on the playfield, provided the material on the wall sides is suitable.

I dont have any walls set to be super reflective, but metal ball guide surfaces are kind of and i get reflection of those off the table
