Russ has the new source to remove more messages (for cabinets) like the Sound Emulation is not working 100% message, and other messages. I dont have access to update the dll at his link, but he will post it very soon.
Latest cabinet dll with pinDMD integration here!

GEN_GTS3 games are now cool, they are 20xAlphanumeric so i cant fit the last 4 digits on the dmd, so i have chopped them off.

Hy Russ,

thanks for the board. My blue DMD arrived last saturday. The installing was pretty easy.....

but i have some troubles with the dmdlogo.txt.

At running hp as hpledcontrol.exe no .txt ist shown between
the tables. The same problems running hp as hyperpin.exe....

I put the .txt in my tables folder.

when i go into the setup.exe of VPinmame and running a rom under test, the .txt will show between different rom testing....

i don´t know what else i can do, to fix the problem.

Do you have any suggestions for me?

the way the logo.txt works is going to be changing very soon so i wouldn't worry if its not working for you as its all gonna change smile.gif

can you put some pics/videos up of this blue dmd would love to see it smile.gif

is this a pinled board? if so make sure the dmd is always powered before the pinDMD or the pinDMD can be damaged sad.gif

now that is cool lol smile.gif

yeah just be very careful that the pinDMD is NEVER plugged into the pinLED board with the pinLED unpowered smile.gif

there is a weird fault in these pinleds where if its unplugged it draws current through the data io which can seriously damaged any thing connected to it!!! (pinDMD does not like having 2amp drawn through its 40ma rated io) (neither does ur 500ma usb lol)

OK.

I take it to the 12V power supply of the RGB LEDS.
So it should be powered before the pindmd board is powered.

good night

Played Mario and Taxi with the new .dll
They worked great. dblthumb.gif

However on my second game of Mario I had a script error pop up after my third ball during the bonus countdown.
It probably has nothing to do with the PinDmd, but just in case the error was as follows.

Line 449
Object Required: 'aBall'

I am no script expert but it would seem from this error that the table just lost track of a ball or something.

Mario table has a few scripting errors with me, too... this has nothing to do with pinDMD Mostly that the script is older and needs to be updated to include BallID so that the table knows how to keep track of the balls.

Mario table needs the ball collision vbs file. Its available on the forum somewhere

me and snotz have found some threading issues with the .dll causing some flickering on the dmd, when flashing high scores and in some animations. its quite hard to notice. we are trying to fix it right now, the display can look quite a bit smoother once this problem has been sorted smile.gif
