Running FE PinballY and see that the version with it is 1.0.0 on the exe file.
See that theres a version 3 out but can't find any docs on the upgrade procedure from that far back.
Do I just copy the Ver 3 files over and run the monitor exe as admin and thats it ? Is there a edit in PinballY to make sure the newer version starts ? 
Same with the leaderboard exe ?

Pinbally just uses the pinemhi.exe and pinemhi.ini to extract the hiscores from the nvrams
If you want your own personal top 10 scores, friends scores and badges and challenges then you should use the monitor otherwise you don't need to run that one.
The scores will be put online in a database with the monitor, that's where you need the username and code for.
Your cab has to be online though to make that work.

If you are interested in that i would suggest you should read the installation.txt for further details to set it up.

Pinemhi.exe v 1.0 in th exe is probably already a newer version. Best way to check is the whatsnew.txt to check which version it is.

Pinemhi leaderboard doesn't require a frontend...works with or without a frontend...using the monitor file
You don't have to change anything in pinbally for that

Got me on the last second, okay, I know understand and feel the meaning of "spike" aoootch

Well, next 5min challenge is on Avengers Table. Damn It. I won't be able to contest, because I'm one these victims undergoing the famous Mystery of the Avengers :

What was the original filename of your table ?
I will check as well, as I launch yesterday the table gor testing and didnt send a score for me as well

EDIT : For me it was a slightly different issue.
Pinemhi Could not match the Vpinmame name against his own local 'database' to get the romname.

That wass because the name was slightly different.
I added the following line to the Pinemhi.ini :
Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition, The (4.03)=swtril43.nv
Now Pinemhi is able to identify the rom and can extract the

Both roms are found and matched, nvram is updated, but nothing is submitted :

Is rom tomy_500 -Tommy (5.00 unofficial MOD) not added to the leaderboard ?
It is showing a correct log and sending to Pinemhi, but cannot find the entry on the website

Hi Mike,

 

sorry about the away time...ever since my cabinet had a disk crash and before that a problem with my ledwiz not working any more i somewhat lost the momentum

tomy_500 should be supported.

maybe something goes wrong with handling it into the database

 

I'll have to check..hopefully i find some time to research and perhaps update the pinemhi.ini with the new vpinmame version

Turned out to be an easy fix.
just forgotten to add it in the database.

Perhaps you can try again to see if it's working now

I'm challenged to make 3 times the score of 5.000.000.000 on Attack and Revenge from Mars, but scores are not recorded. What should be the rom file invloved ?

 

I succeed at the challenge with afm_113 AND afm_113b. None of them has been recorded, and I'm stuck at this level  

Also I haven't found this table intp the pinemhi.ini file (Thanks MikeDaSpike for the inspiration)

You got  me a little confused here but I understand it now

scores are registered and all works well but you didn't get promoted to the next level for the challenge

Not sure as to the reason why that didn't happen but I saw the evidence so i upped your level to 21

The 5 minute mode challenge is for rolling stones (bally) from 1980

maybe you tried The Rolling Stones from stern. That should have given scores in the log however (on the server)
Yo do have to make certain you use the latest romset for The Rolling Stones however , rsn_110 or rsn_110h
maybe that was it.?

 

Just like wiesshund said, it's easier to determine what went wrong if we have more information, the log would be a good way to start investigating
