I fell down the stairs yesterday and really hurt my right arm....  :split:   I don't think I can change my high score this week :(. Maybe Saturday there is a window of opportunity....

Get well soon. :bye2:

Your highscore maybe high enough for no. 1 this week. :love39:

A no. 1 position?? That would be a first and quite a honour amongst so many great players :). I did try some games today but I could not nudge enough with the right arm.

In all my other games with v2.0 I don't come near my highscore of 4.3m.
I will try today some games...

This thing is mental, plays nothing like the real one.
Bit fast for my slight lag.
Will have a few games to get used to it.

First million

I'm sure the first thing he does is to swear, then adjust a lot of parameters - rendering himself out of this competition. The table as you play it feels like has been sitting in a barn for a long time where the rubber is dead and the owner have changed flippers for some modern stern ones. Not enjoyable at all. Once the week is over I've pondered about maybe putting my modified version of the table on dropbox for anyone to try for a day or so. I tried to hint that we maybe should use a mod this week, but you guys were quick on deciding that 32' physics was awesome and that waiting for a 2.0 where nothing really had changed was the way forward.

Fortunately, vogliadcane is making a new, updated version of this table. I hope its not only graphics adjustments because Fathom is a great table.

Yes, you read correctly - I'm still kind of pissed off.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

IMHO, This is a friendly challenge. I am fine with people tweaking the table and using it for the challenge and even better sharing it for others to use during the competition.

I don't think anyone should have to play an unmodified version of the table they don't enjoy. In my case I slowed down the table and that's what I used this week.

I am interested in playing your version :)

There is lots of little things like when the targets trip, they sometimes leave some up and it's supposed to be all targets down, so lock a ball then targets come up.

Frustrating table.

Plus my card overheated and stuttered badly on a good game. So turned off.

Look forward to some tweaks.

Great job senseless. I only managed 4.6mill and that was on my modified version of this table. General physics changes and some target fixes by gtxjoe. I'll keep it up here for a few days.

This feels like playing underwater but I persist.
As downloaded, no changes except for turn reflections off to gain performance.
3.4M.
(3M First ball)

Still on old cards but must change tonight. Still some other comp scores to work on first.

The v2.0 frustrated me also. I don't know, how I get the 4.3m in one of my first games. Now I'm happy, if I get between 1 and 2 million.
It's hard to shoot the upper left lane to the kicker-hole; maybe 2 of 10 shoots. And with thjs version the ball drains often left or right.
I will try Thalamus' settings today, because Fathom is a great table. It will be nice, if we have perfect physics.

Yeah. Post up the changes so we can play it.
The upper flipper is best for the top lane shot.

Its a good Table, imo. very playable, 32assassin did a good Job, but you are right - too fast, not easy to shoot anything, ...

Its Sunday - what is the next Table ?

Too bad, that we cant choose Tables from another Source, as you know, anywhere are awesome new Tables ...

I think it's fair to say that more than a couple people here were on your side of the argument that the physics for this table could use improvement. I'm not a good judge of physics, but I prefer the idea of using a version of the table everyone can enjoy. As this was not the case with 32assassin's table, I too, wish we could have agreed on a mod earlier. Ideally I think it makes sense for everyone in the competition to use the same table and settings, but it doesn't bother me personally if victory is seized from me by someone using a modded table.  Anyways, thanks for sharing your table mod.

I play the table all the time (my WIP without major changes in physics) and yes I agree, it is a difficult table anyways and it takes some time to get used to it. But I think assassin did a great job. Only 2 things I think should be changed when comparing it with videos on the web: 1. it is too fast and 2. There should be rubber posts at the inner outlane so that the propability is given you can save the ball from draining by nudging. I saw this happens rarely but from time to time in videos on the net. Maybe for my fathom we can modify the physics this way?

And who do we know that has this game ? Roar at least had one. I would love to have a more realistic version of this table with the graphics improvements you are working on. I would ask politely for any of the more senior members if they would help you on this task if you don't feel up to it yourself.

I think senseless has the high score Of the week, 4,938,600. Congrats!

Pick the table. You are allowed to pick tables from other sites. Obviously no Syern SAM tables.. And no direct links, I guess. Just mention the table and version 😎
