Shadow, thanks for helping me out with this.

yes, i have FP set the same as my backglass 1280x720.

i dont see an option on my Fp to set the backglass at 1280x1024 like yours.

it does the same image with or without BAM and Hyperpin...........??

my image isnt completely unusable, its just not as crisp as it should be... see link.

Yeah, if your monitor is set at 1280x720 I think that is as high as FP will go.

That image is def. jaggy, mine does not look at all like that.

I personally would try setting the monitor to it's highest setting, or is 1280x720 it?

With it being only on two of the games I think it's got to be something with those two tables either in the config or script, but what?

have you tried deleting the fpRAM file?  What about deleting everything in FP and BAM related to Family Guy and downloading it again.  Big pain but maybe fresh start.

Shadow, i just deleted the FPram, with no luck, id rather not play with my resolutions, because it throws off all my icons, and makes me nuts.

i think ill just live with it for now , until somebody figures out what the problem is.

family guy gold does the same thing.........thanks/sparky

Don't know what to tell you Sparky. I have tried about every setting I can and have not been able to make FG look like that.  Truly odd that its only on a couple tables.  If i run across anything I'll let you know.

thanks Shadow,

i just tried exporting a known good image from another FP table, and imported it into family guy, and it looks as it should.

i also tried exporting the family guy image, and imported it into a table with a clear backglass, and it looks jaggy.

maybe i have a corrupt backglass file?

i have tried downloading the table again, but have  the same issue.

is there any way to send me your backglass file?// thanks/sparky

So, you exported the family Guy BG and put in in another table and it still looked jagged.  You exported another good looking table backglass and put it into Family Guy and it looked fine.  But when you put the one I posted for you in FG it looked the same with the jagged lowres image?

I have an idea, grab this other image and try it.  It's not a pinball image per say but it is much higher res than the pinball one. curious if it will display better?

hi shadow, i just searched google for another BG image. i found a couple different ones, and was able to get one of them to look almost normal. it now much less noticable, but still not what it should be.

fam.jpg

just tried your image. here it is displayed through FP, its a little jagged.

YES, that is EXACTLY what happened. makes no sense. it must be something with the image resolution or format....
