If you are using the smb3 rom, you can not change the number of balls per game. If you want a 5 ball game you need to use either the smb1 or smb2 rom. You would also need to go into the script and change the rom reference from smb3 to whichever rom you are going to use.

You then need to download the nvram pack from this site and unzip it to the nvram folder.

Just wondering if anyone has updated this tables acrylics to alpha's? Normally I just do this myself, but for some reason I can't seem to figure out how this one is built. All my attempts have just made a mess of it.
This is really a nice looking and playing table it just really needs the (normally) simple update to alpha on it's plastics. How bout it, anyone managed to accomplish this?

UW and I were discussing updating this at one point, I had suggested that I could do an assortment of 3D models for this table, we both agreed it could be updated to be really nice without too much effort. It's not necessarily an abandoned idea, but it's been put on the back burner with all the other things going on, we have the JPark update to finish and UW still has his Pinball Magic WIP which I derailed him from and I know we discussed updating Big Bang Bar at some point too. For this Mario table I wanted to do 3D ramps for all the ramps and the castle to say the least....but just not enough time to get around to it all.

I hear you dark, I would love to see you work you magic on this table and that table and well all of them, but I understand. I really wasn't fishing for someone to rebuild this one though it's pretty good compared to a lot of tables out there that need far more urgent attention. This one just needs the acrylics converted to Alpha's. Something usually is quite easy for me but this one has something unusual going on here and the more I try to make it look good the worse it gets. I was hoping someone had figured it out and could either share or at least help me do it.
It's no biggie the table just came up on random play and when I fired it up I noticed I had never fixed the ramps and, well that where the day went. ![]()

No! I hear you! ![]()
I just thought I'd throw that out there because I was pretty much on the same page as you....it's a table that could really benefit from just some new ramps even if they were just the newer VP ramps.....but of course that led to thinking 3D mesh ramps and other applications of 3D. It's something I really hope we can find time for down the road.

Well I'd say take the photos regardless before selling it, especially close ups of any decals on potential 3D objects.
