Iron Man, already??

So all these tables are built in VP already, is anything scripted? So we could use these table, but make up new rule sets like JP did with spiderman, would that be aloud??

Only if you put sounds in tongue3.gif
Dan.
A wizard only needs one ball...but can handle six.

There isn't much point to scripting since it would all be replaced when the game code is running.

Well, the playfield I had was one I found on this website long ago, Which I don't even remember which site it was,
I had to touch up the playfield just a little bit to make it look pretty good. And no, unfourtunately I don't have any newer playfields, although I will keep out a watchful eye and tell you f I find something good.

Thanks.

Are you doing Family Guy in VP then?

It's done in VP, yeah, just waiting for the game code.

Heh, that'd be an evil WIP post. A thread with any SAM table, built and looking sexy, but entirely not playable due to the emulation blackout. "Look what I built. Will be playable ... someday".

Oh hey!

I just found this long lost future pinball table I was slowly working on!

As you can see mine is in the early stages, but I have compared the ramps (the red one) and
Mine seems to look a little more like the one on the real machine, so if you want advice on how to tweak
it a little, I can help you (or unless you want to keep yours that way, since it is your table)

Anyways, Here's how I did the ramp:

NO START MODEL
END MODEL: RampEnder05-1
AND FOR EVERY RAMP POINT: I put a left guide, a right guide, and a half loop (you can put the guides on by right clicking the point and clicking special attributes)

Hope this helped!

P.S. Should I try to continue my version? cause he is doing a very fine job! laugh.gif

I'll make those changes.
Thanks

Ok getting close to starting to code, but first a quick poll.

Do I leave the mini playfield in and make it simpler than the real thing or take it out all together? (remember there is no easy way to make a small ball and flippers)

Please remember this is never going to be a full replica of the real thing, more like a tribute.
I should be able to code all the modes but the dmd animation will not be the same (If there at all.)
Once released of course you can add whatever you want to it to make it 'REAL'.

PS if someone could rip the sounds from the real machine that would help a lot.

I know that you can't make a small ball, but I am pretty sure you could make tiny flippers with the model editor. Maybe you could make your own mini game up there with a full sized ball and one flipper? Tough question....

Ok I'm gonna leave the mini playfield alone for now.
Started coding the game now.
Once a few modes are done I'm gonna release a beta test, this will be put up somewhere for a select few. wink.gif

Good news everyone (oops wrong show)
I've done some tests and managed to get a rip some of the intro from the show and use it in the DMD, and I'm pleasantly suprised with the results.
So DMD animation are gonna be in.
Tonne of work to do tho' wink.gif
