Even if this poll isn't set up in the smartest way, it does show some interesting results. It always seems that TAF, AFM, MM and TZ find their way into the top for some reason. Also it's interesting to see that Royal Rumble didn't even get the pity vote, but Hook did.

For me, it would have to be the pinball that had the biggest impact on my pinballing "career" - if you can call it that. That narrows it down to two - SS, which was the first pin I ever saw and played - or TAF, the table I am currently honing my skills on. Seeing as SS isn't on the list - either that, or I'm going blind - the choice had to be TAF. My personal "greatest" pinball table.

Royal Rumble is pretty bad

It depends. With themed tables, one can overlook the design flaws much easier when the design is appealing - hence why I consider Royal Rumble and Tommy to be some of my favorite tables - not to say that those tables are actually that bad. Compared to other tables, the designs do have some flaws, but that's what you get with Data East - hits and misses. I think those two tables are hits, while somebody else might think they're misses - they're not as universally acclaimed as others.

I vote for 1992 Creature from the Black Lagoon by Bally, This was my favorite pinball machine and i guess this video sums it all up. I can't see why you did not include this table in your list. I believe most everyone here has played this table at one time or another if not it is a must play. Even for a mordern table I consider this a classic. Even after reading this thread I see that it places 6th in all time favorite. But far as your list goes it is nowhere near accurate or even close. So your post should have read out of this list which is your favorite.

Agreed, albeit top heavy with the more modern tables and what I feel are the more classic tables more towards the bottom on the electronic side.

i think bram stokers drac should be higher on the list

I agree. Nothing to choose from on this list. No machines under 1975.

No Haunted House or Eight Ball Deluxe on the list? But Last Action Hero is? I also think Judge Dredd with deadworld mod deserves some lovin' too. Yeah I own all 3 of these tables (& a BK2K currently), you could say I'm biased, but then again I own what I own because I loved them to begin with, & they didn't disappoint.

i think TZ is really the most complete pinball of the history....i also really like Last Action Hero and Road Show. a special mention for Dracula with its triple multi ball...a great satisfaction when you take it!

all great tables.
i did not see 1 EM table on the list.
all from the 80s and 90s.
there were alot of great EMs.
the old EMs single level with lots of targets and spinners were great.
after about 1-2yrs at the bowling alley or arcade they were played out.
they might call someone to fix the broken flippers, broken EMs and worn and broken rubber bumpers.
played ok.
not like it did when new.
i played TZ, triple action, quick draw, frontier.

Bob has a good recreation very similar to triple action called Fantastic Four.
its real good.
the real table was a drain monster.
a bad hit on the spinner could jet the ball down the side drain.
the C and D targets could send the ball across the table down the opposite drain.
that was the way it played.
good job Bob.
its plays ok.

From those options, I think Attack from Mars is my favorite table. I also really like Victory and Pinbot, although the outlanes on Pinbot don't play nice - That's for sure!
