I'll try to fix all the bugs you have found as soon as possible. And I'll increase the gravity constant a bit, as the table feels a little slow now.
About the hand, it's a teamwork. StrangeLeo took some pics of his own hand. Then ChispaMaster applied some filters to it, to make it look plastified, then I modelled the box in 3D, merged it all and you can see the result, I'm glad you like it smile.gif

I have updated it to the 1.01 version.
The ball now shouldn't get stuck at any places in the table.
Solved the boockase lock
The table now plays a little faster.
Thanks for the advices guys.
Greetings.

Thanks Melon!

By the way: the values for a Groni-style full screen table are:

Inclination: 60
Field of view: 32
X and Y scale: 1.24
Y offset: -32

Love those angle-independent tables.

Thanks Melon for a great table! Great job on putting it together, great crisp graphics and nice, loose -a tad fast maybe, but can't please everyone wink.gif - play flow. I'll definitely try your settings rehab, I do love it when I use the whole screen for playing field only. Looking forward to next projects Melon, you're one class author!

Did you know that "playing pinball" is called "flipperen" in Dutch? Now you know and may your life be enriched by this arcane knowledge....

Great job on such a fast fix. cool.gif
This is now reminding me of that quarter sucking machine that I had played.Awesome work!

I do have a question on the real machine.
There is one thing that I have not heard on this table,if I remember right.
When you light thing flips and you make the ramp and let thing hit the ball and it misses the shot, didn't Gomez use to say "slow down thing"?

Thank you very much for the VP9 version of TAF biggrin.gif

I just played the updated version (1.01) for about 30 minutes, and no balls got stuck, but I have problems with the bookcase lock, anyone else?

I also cannot lock balls into the bookcase in the new updated version(1.01).
Still got over 1 billion on my last game lol

The table is still a blast to play, I'm sure Melon will get all bugs worked out.

Great release, Melon! The table looks amazing! Some details I found:

1) The hand animation is great, but I see the hand is a bit big?
2) The right side of the bookcase (Opto 3/4) doesn't register
3) The elasticity in the left inlanes/outlane separator is too small i.e. when not flipping with the thing flip, the ball should bounce on the inlanes separator wire, and it is usually prepared to be a left drain.

The volume in vPinMAME is not properly adjusted by default to match the real thing. A value I found nice is: DAC at 75%, YM2151 Ch1&2 at 25%.
For me, the Vault locked the ball properly.

Keep it up, Melon! I can't wait to see your Fish Tales!

You always have some pretty good comments on new releases, Marton. You seem to know what you are talking about. I think authors should use you as one of their default beta testers.

Hi.
About the vault lock, I'm working on a completly new kicker hole system, using the Table Field height property, the entrance to the kickers will be more realistic, and I'll fix any problem with the vault as I'm updating the system, though I didn't have any problem with it...
And thanks Marton for the advices!
Greetings.

hello everyone.

This table is really nice but unfortunately there are some bugs that prevent it from playing properly.
should help to finish this beautiful melon's pinball.
to get the ball in the library is to shift the three walls below.

those that have painted in red.(click the image to see full screen)

go to state and edit on the three walls:
slingshot force: 5
elasticity: 0.15

Here it should works.i just tested on three sides but it is not too easy to trigger the sequence and identify each blow that hole.

cordially

Yeah having a good understanding of VP helps loads. I shortly beta tested this for melon, as i have the real table, but i tell melon how his table is diffrerent from mine, shooting shots too many times, or too easily etc. As i dont have any knowledge of VP i cant be techincal about stuff like Marton has posted.

Maybe from now on table builders should release the table in beta form in there WIP thread, like Noah and UR did with terminator, you'll riddle the bugs and tweaks out alot quicker with 50 people playing the beta that just 5 or 6. Just my thoughts!

Hi Rehab,
Will those values always work with tables that have the apron visible and part of the backglass/DMD or is this a TAF-only solution? Will all tables require their own settings? These settings work for me real good! Thanks again,
Slam23

They will work for most of JPSalas' tables with a minor adjustment to the X and Y scale. (between 1.19 and 1.22 or so)
