Can your bus on the cyclotron be bidirectional? Or will the cyclotron have bidirectional spinning for more variety?

Maybe I should explain what this does. when you pass the security guard and you lock your ball in the kicker,
the ball is retained for10 seconds giving you the time to select a song. After this short period the minigame Start and the ball is spitted into the cyclotron motion, spinning for the entire length of the song you selected. if during the minigame you achieve 80% success on your mission, thenthe cyclotron unlock a second ball for your multiball enjoyment. if you don't, the ball is spitted out alone anyway and put back in play. so it is kind of a ball catcher. I'm no too worry about variety here since the effect goes really well with the record playing, the beat of the music and the neon light surrounding the cyclotron..and beleive me, when the minigame has started, you have not much time to look at that thing.

For the tour bus, this is a skill shot. you have to hit the surrounding ramp when the bus is exactly over the kicker(lights flashes). doing so, you bank up with an extra minute of playtime. and to spin like that the bus Axis is in the middle of the playfiled so "no"... you can always reverse the motion but then the bus would just go backward, and I don't think it is interesting or any use in the concept.

Wow, thats really cool! Very innovative. You should pitch some of those ideas to STERN. Seriously, they missed the Guitar Hero/Rock Band window, but a DDR type inner playfield might get kids back into the arcades to play pinball. If kids would want to play pinball again, OPs would make money, malls would have arcades again and we would have a pinball resurgence!

Huh, oh, I must be dreaming ....

Very nice table though! Looking forward to your progress.

Montreal is supposed to be the capital of video game...
Funny thing is that my resume always been rejected by every single company here, main reason is that I don't fit the profile..I'm 41.
been told once it is hard to squeeze something original from a 40 years old..biggrin.gif

thx a lot for the compliment!, I feel like that dude dressed as a school kid in ACDC..

The new teaser vid looks solid Steve. I keep hoping one of your posts will include my song, but the anticipation is keeping me stoked.

Yeah, us 40 something guys can't generate new ideas anymore, we can only recycle and mimic. Someone out there is going to notice your talent and get themselves a raise when they sign you up. Just don't forget your FP friends when that happens.

Hey don't worry for me. My previous comment was more leaning toward "irony'. I did start my own business when I understood that people are afraid to
hire someone with experience...they mostly say "why should I hire you, knowing that eventually you are going to get my job ? biggrin.gif

Wish everyone could be freelance. It is a great way to meet people and keep you sharp at what you do.
And no...I'm not going anywhere from this pinball scene rossi...Soccer pinball for summer 2010..sure!

Glad you all like the cosmetic, but don't forget, this particular game is to pay tribute to all these GREAT music makers out there.
you really discover true gems when you listen carefully to the spirit. In our everyday life we are conditioned to hear what they want us to hear.
that is part of why a song or artist become popular or not : the exposure.

During this trip, I have learned to love new musics and appreciate new artists, unknown from the general public.

GaryGaugh, NEXT(humid!), Shooting Rubys, Steep and Brian Sucks (Brian dont suck...it is just a name!) are now amongst my favorite song in my gameroom'jukebox
If I get permission from everyone. I might compile a "WorldTour Album", downloadable here along with the table.
