I sent LH a private email, so hopefully he can update this table to fix the multiball problem. He did a great job making the table and would be a shame not to have it in the cabinets, because of a simple problem.

I haven't played it enough to hit any issues, but I agree, it is an absolutely beautiful table..one of my favorites just for the artwork alone..

Peace,

if your not familiar with the game, you might not realize that there is a 3 ball multiball. this game has a progressive multiball, and the only way to achieve jackpot, is to start the 3 ball MB. you lock one ball in the organ, then it gives you another. Then you start in 2 ball. After that, your suppose to shoot the organ again. Then you have 15 seconds to get the 2nd ball in there. Upon doing that, both balls should be locked in the organ (via left side VUK) and the game kicks out a 3rd. While in 3 ball, shoot the organ again for jackpot.

I have gone through & fixed this issue & cleaned up some other issues as well, took me a while to figure it all out too.  In fact, one of the issues I fixed wasn't even really possible until these newer VP versions.  Now the question is whether LH will let me release a mod of this, as I've done some cosmetic updates as well as my usual physics tuning.  LH let me mod Black Rose which had some bugs & it turned out really nice & people like it, so I don't think he would have much issue.  I've also got a mod of his IJ that has been sitting here for months, & maybe others.  Maybe while I'm at it I can get more permissions.

Please try. I really enjoyed your BR table mod and also Mystic. These mods would be great if you can get permission.

Sounds really good Rob (also mod for IJ would be great)! I haven't actually tried this table before so hopefully you can release the MOD's.

I have always gotten release permission from LH for my MOD's (I think 3 of them) so that should not be a problem.

OK, LH says all is good to go.  He made a good suggestion too, since he is a cab guy to also update the tables & whatever else of his I'd work on to the new B2S.  Of course I make FS & desktop versions of tables, but am only on desktop myself & so I haven't been following what is going on here.

Is there anything I need to add to the table to get the new B2S to work?

Hello Rob,

if you wanted to be really kind you could just addd the controller line and then comment it out as follows:

Set Controller = CreateObject("VPinMAME.Controller")

'Set Controller=CreateObject("B2S.Server")

That way when a dB2S is released for Phantom people just have to make a slight change to the script.

That's it?  Easy enough.

Sometimes you have to hassle me!  If I don't do things right away, its easy for me to flat out forget unless you remind me again.  But there is 1 thing I was gonna do for you that I haven't forgot about & I want you to check out, I'll let you know about that soon.  I'm gonna do the textures for you now so I don't forget, will PM.

That's the beauty of the new B2S server system, it's so easy to hook up to tables (like UVP).

Looking forward to trying your fixed table, thanks for stepping up. The pace of "new" tables is a lot slower these days, but I have to say, I actually prefer how instead we're refining and fixing up what we have to be even more solid instead. :)

Well I look for tables like many of LH's because even a few years ago he made good looking tables with some nice textures that still hold up today.  So whenever you have a visually decent table, its much easier to keep that up to date & tweaked rather than a table that just has too many visual issues, where they are at the point where they are just better off if rebuilt.  This POTO I think is somewhat borderline, I think he did the best with the textures he had.  It could definitely still benefit from a new build maybe within the next couple years, but most of it is stuff I can polish up.  But yeah the main thing here was a couple of the bugs on the table were total game breakers.  So for the first time in years people will have a proper POTO to play.

I've actually got a couple other tables like this, that just have game breaking bugs but nobody seems to notice, or if they do the author just never gets around to fixing them.  I fix them, but I also haven't really done enough in some cases to warrant a whole new release (mod) just for that reason, so is a tough situation.  BBB for example has a game breaking bug on it, & with it fixed its a much more enjoyable table & you can properly progress on it.  I fixed this & polished up some other details with BBB, I should probably send it off to UW to see what he thinks, but I keep forgetting.

You likely copied over ledcontrol.vbs file into tables or scripts directory. remove it. If that was indeed the case ...when installing games only ever take the .vpt file and the .directb2s. You should never take .vbs files from a zip table file - they are always old and out of date.

Don't know if any one has found this but, I mouse clicked on table and then hit the "+" key on number pad and it turns volume up. Scroll is on the left side on pinball table.
