I finally got a chance to play your release quite a bit.  It did NOT disappoint, you nailed what makes this pin so special:  all the shots require skill, are properly designed in VPX just like the real pin and the flow is great as well.  Damn this is a fine pin, the incredible amount of different shots in this game is staggering!  Looking at the playfield, you'd swear it's a widebody pin!  It's unfair that the theme is uninteresting to some, as it's a fantastic game.  Go beyond the theme people and just play it and go down the rabbit hole that is BayWatch!

Tried it in VR (both this release and the VR room). It's fantastic, super clear and the frame rate is perfection!  I'm not able to see the DMD though (well, I think it's itty bitsy small to the bottom left behind the backbox). it's 2am here will figure it out tomorrow lol.  Yes, I played your release for a good 30 min and the VR Room version for about an hour, your release is so smooth I didn't mind playing it without the DMD.  Got crap of a score in the video mode though ;)

If you have another opportunity to play, you can try these modified scripts to have the backglass and DMD active in desktop mode,

the script line 87 is already set for this.
Replace previous scripts with these.

Attached File  Baywatch.zip   10.01KB   29 downloads

This is also useful for desktop users who want to try the table with the backbox, without rotating the screen,

after replacing the scripts you have to change the desktop POV, just change only Y Z Offset:

Y Offset 765

Z Offset 2350

Hey Kiwi!  I'm happy to report the new script worked perfectly, DMD is now beautiful and in proper space!  Thanks very much for the quick fix!!!

Hi there, I'm new to Visual Pinball, BAYWATCH is a great machine, thanks a lot!

I have a pinball machine with 2 monitores and I'm having some trouble to move the scorebox (DMD?) from the playfield to the backglass.

Basically, I'd like to move the DMD to its local on the backglass.  When editing the playfield with F6 editor mode, the DMD window simply don't move across the screen, it seems to be locked... what should I do? I've already tried to edit the Script with some hints I've seen here, but got no success... I'd like to post a photo, but I don't know if it's possible...

Thanks in advance to anyone who can helps this newbie...

Start playing the table, then left-click the DMD and holding the button, drag it to where you want it.
To resize it, you can right-click the DMD, select' 'show window border', then you can size the DMD the way you need it, by dragging its borders.

From what you say it seems you are trying to play in desktop mode and in this situation the DMD is fixed because it is not the VPinMame,

to use the VpinMame modify this in the scripts, around line 80:

Const VPMorTextDMD = 1

with

Const VPMorTextDMD = 0

Or ,maybe you need to use full screen mode, go to video preferences and select "Use always FS backdrop settings .......", this is usually the option to play with two screens.

Thanks. I lowered the intensity of some lights and it takes a while... the 1.0.2 update only affects the Script? (to overwrite the Script in version 1.0.1)

Yes, there are some changes in the scripts,

and look for the rightslingshot in the editor and check the "As hit event" checkbox in its properties panel.

Thank you! The table is amazing, but at the beginning i increased the ambient light of tables and lowered the intensity of the more brightest lights. Now I leave them by default to save work, except very dark tables

@kiwi : I was a bit surprised that I didn't find any sign of what you mentioned in the JPS 3.0 physics thread for the latest update ?!

https://www.vpforums...=45351&p=471324

Curious. Had draw backs ?

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

I removed the code before releasing the update because I wanted to do further tests also with different physics settings, maybe I will add it in the next updates,

it is an angular momentum limiter and should limit sharp turns of the ball, and depending on the setting it slows down the overall speed of the game.

i go to run the table and get error line 194 ? not sure what this means

.Run GetPlayerHWnd

it is an error concerning the VPinMame controller.

I don't know if it can be related to the lack of this:

On Error Resume Next

Try adding a new line in the scripts before the controller starts, and put the missing part:

On Error Resume Next
.Run GetPlayerHWnd

If that doesn't make the error go away, it could be something in the VPinMame installation that isn't working well.

Have you installed the latest version of VPinMame?

Do you have the VBS scripts installed only in the scripts folder?

Sorry, I saw it in the wrong version, but it still helped me to notice the missing part.

I have this in line 194:

vpmNudge.TiltSwitch = swTilt

Can you tell us what the error says?
