I don't know if you guys are aware but this tutorial shows how to set up analog nudge on Future Pinball:

I am not sure if it is any different from what you guys are doing or if it is better or worse.  TerryRed followed the first post on how to set up tilt with it.

Nope.  That's exactly what I use.  You can see my setup in each release zip in the Sample INI folder, DOFLinx - DDH69' Current Pinball Setup

Hello,

I tried your exact steps and on the Test Joystick window when press get offset and shake my cabinet, nothing happens. I am using Pinscape and I can see in the config tool that the accelerometer is working. Can I have some hep with this?

Really only a couple of possibilities here:

1. You have not selected the correct joystick number in the test screen

2. The Windows drivers you have are not the correct ones / setup correctly.  The Pinscape test does not require the drivers.  Windows needs to see a functional three axis  joystick.

What if there are 2 joysticks?

I have an AtGames Legends Pinball (ALP) and recently they enabled the accelerometer from the control panel (joystick #1).  I want to continue using the Pinscape board (joystick #2).

However, in FX3 now, for some reason I'm getting phantom nudges, meaning that keyboard L or R seem to be getting activated without even touching the table.  I am using the same settings in the .ini as listed in the first post here and it worked fine until, I think, the accelerometer was enabled for joystick 1.  Could having 2 active accelerometers affect DOFLinx operation even though I have joystick 2 selected in the .ini?

Sidenote: the "Test Joystick" option no longer works correctly either.  If I set it to joystick 1, click Get Offset and move the table, nothing happens, though if I then switch to joystick 2 in the Test Joystick dialog, I see accelerometer values!  Very weird.

Two joysticks should not bother DOFLinx.  You are explicitly telling it which one to use.  Has the addition of the new joystick changed your joystick numbering or Windows driver setup?  Ultimately the test joystick function needs to work for nudging to be right.

I'd suggest back to basics, get one working again, add the second and check that the first still works in the Pinscape utility, Windows and then DOFLinx.

I have the ALP ans still use the PinScape controller for nudging. I have never even tried to enable the ALP accelerometer in OTG mode, or even checked to see if Windows detects it. My JoyToKey configuration sees my ALP control deck as Joystick 1 and the PinScape controller as Joystick 2.  The PinScape works as expected in VPX, FP, and PinballFX3.

I'm sorry that I can't directly solve your problem, but maybe the fact that my analogue nudging functions normally may give you some hope that you can get yours working.

Yes, this is my exact setup as well, so it's good to know it's working for you.  But the accelerometer for the control panel over OTG was enabled in a recent firmware update, so you may not know that it's active.  Do you perform the weekly firmware updates?

Yes, I do the weekly updates. I well remember when the firmware was released that enabled the accelerometer via OTG, but my PinScape was working well so I never even tried to see if Windows even picked it up. I will take a look at my PC today to see whether it's even there.

I"d like to get some nudging going on my ALP with FPB. Is there a video showing how to do this cause for some reason my grey cells aren't getting this.

Need visual learning due to old age, alcohol (don't drink) and other illegal things (don't do them either) lol.

I need help with FX3 doflinx nudge. Everything is working on my cab. When I go to configure L, F and R nudge point it already show nudge word. It is very sensitive. Without doing anything, the word nudge appears. I'm using pinscape without DOF. If I have to set the parameters they will be zero. Only for nudge. The plunger is OK.

struggling with mine as well

Have a pinscape lite, nudge works fine in VPX.

I can run debug mode for doflinx and do joystick test and see all the values but I have the same issue as Halen above it shows nudge instantly w/o touching the cab

does DOFlinx have a deadzone you can configure?

cause with no deadzone, i can see nudge being a constant
