Yes. It's a last resort solution. I would much earlier added a different path for the OS to search through than put it in a system folder. But, as long as it works for you.

You could also re-register the dll ... open cmd prompt - go to where it is installed

 

run it  with a /i parameter. Eg.

 

ultradmd.exe /i

 

and you can configure it again with

 

ultradmd.exe /c
