Somethings was abit off with the physics...so i changed the table friction that was way to high...from 0,8 to 0,35...and also lowered the slope from 6,0 to 5,8...and now it plays much better, and more like the real deal.
Else for that...it is really great! :D

Absolutely love the table. 1 of my 2 absolute favorite SS tables that I dropped so many quarters in I could have probably bought one of these at the time! Thank you 32!

1 question though - the kickback: shouldn't it set the ball up for the upper flipper to hit it? I recall on any real table I played in the past it kicked the ball almost perfect for a ramp shot if you timed it right.

The kickback should set the ball up for the upper flipper. I just change a little kickback wall and it works perfect ;)

Good settings Zany, thanks for sharing! I ended up with friction 0,25 and slope 6

Thank you 32A for such a high quality release of High Speed for VPX.

Merry Christmas everyone and Happy New Year!  Among other issues I'm sure we're all dealing within our personal lives, I wish to extend my best wishes to Carrie Fisher that she makes a huge comeback for Star Wars Episode 9 after her recent tragedy.

Best Regards,

Kruge99.

This is one of the Tables where i only have garbage of the score in the background (not Backglas) what could that be? On some Table with Score + Highscore in the Background, the score is garbage and the Highscore is ok. I thought maybe it could be because i am colorblind, but my girlfriend also sees that garbage. i am not able to put a screenshot in my post, because it seems i am not allowed to do this.

Greetings

32a,

You have made some nice tables in the past, but this is by far, my favorite table you have recreated.  There are three tables that I remember playing a lot in my younger years.  This one got the most play at my local 7-11 store, the others were Pinbot and Star Wars Data East.  I wish I knew how many quarters I plunked down that High Speed table.  It's a lot.

I also tried Zany's physics tweaks and now have this table playing awesome.  Great, great job on this table and thanks for sharing!

Hi 32assassin,

I love your table. He ist great. But I have a little problem and you may have

a idea to solve it.

The police-light(beacon) doesn`t work. My table config: I5, 8Gb, Samsung SSD,

Ledziz, 8 Contactors, Shaker, Knocker. I have the newest version of vpx, vpinmame and b2s.server installed.

The beacon works with my other tables fine. Only the highspeed make problems.

I had this problem with the VP 9.xx Version also.

Maybe I have to change something in the options or in the script, or the directory.

I know that the table(9.xx version) works at the beginning(2years ago). But something has changed

and I don´t know what.

Best greetings

alonso

P.S.

Please don´t look at my "very" good english

I did not add the becaon to the code.

its controlled by solenoid 4

you can add this to line 29 in the script

SolCallback(4)= "vpmSolSound SoundFX(""NONE"",DOFKnocker)," 'Police lights Backbox

I suggest you ask for help in the DOF forum becasue I cannot test this, and You will need to make a new DOF config file.

Great table man.

Got one issue. I was playing this from time to time and suddenly today i got ROM error - i didn't changed anything in ROM settings or registry for this game.

Before start i got error U. RIGHT HIDEOUT 47, game is working and i can play like always but there is annoying sound at start and error delays gameplay.

I know this can happen on real machine but on emulation? What happened?

One day i'll build Vitalik statue out of used AMD gpu's.

Go to VpinMAME/nvram and delete hs_l4.nv file. ROM will back to factory settings.
