DDH69...

I was playing your Masters of the Universe DOFLinx mod the other day (the 2nd FP table with any DOFLinx code I believe).  It was pretty good, considering that you did this without any flashers, strobes, or lighting, to test with, etc.., and you were doing much of what was never done before.

I always wanted to give this table my own bit of pizzazz, especially considering how much I have advanced with doing DOFLinx mods with animation and effects, etc..  I also feel this way about most of my first DOFLinx mods, but since SLAMT1LT is updating most of those tables again, that's going to happen eventually anyway.  :)

Not sure what inspired me....   what was supposed to be a small update to your DOFLinx mod of MOTU, turned into a complete built from scratch modern DOFLinx Cabinet Edition mod, and an entire Saturday gone.  This has all the DOFLinx goodness you could ever want, and really looks cool!

Another thing I did which I'm really happy about (and have been slowly getting there with each new table mod)....

...for this table I have absolutely NO DOFLinx code in the table's code whatsoever! ALL of the DOFLinx code and commands are ALL contained in their own "DOFLinx MAIN Section" at the bottom of the script. In the DOFLinx section, every main table device and action has their own sub-section and sub-routine with easy to find labelling and code. This has become more of a standard now, which means that for future table DOFLinx mods this can be mostly a copy and paste for all the standard stuff contained in the DOFLinx section. Just change what you need for that specific table. This will also make it MUCH easier to transfer a DOFLinx update to a table that is being updated a lot (SLAMT1LT).

The only thing I have throughout the entire main table script are the sub-routine commands for anything needed for DOFLinx.   Each sub-routine begins with "DOFLinx_", so transferring these to a newer table will be much easier now.

So, you think it would end there....   I have the new DOFLinx mod for Masters of the Universe all done......but it doesn't stop there! Again, don't know what inspired me, but now I also want to give this table a complete update with Full Motion Videos and backglass, etc...  similar to what SLAMT1LT does to his tables.

So far I have the entire He-Man intro video running for the attract sequence, and also some videos that show for multi-ball and other actions. Not sure how far I will go, but so far I've had to add 1000's of images for the videos (you can only do 30 at a time, blah!) These are all hi quality videos at 640x480 (original resolution of the show) running at 20fps.  It was a bit of a process to get it work. I must say it's looking pretty cool. This may end up being one of the longest loading FP tables.

Not sure what I should call this new version.   Maybe:

Masters of the Universe: MYAH! Edition   :)

TerryRed, sounds fantastic!  I am so happy to see you pick up this table and have run with it.  As you know, I'm no table author, more technical and interface type coding.  I did this to show it could be done and you've picked up so well on those ideas for so many tables, its nice that you've managed to "circle around" and do this table true justice.  Now that I have (almost) all the lighting I'm looking forward to taking your inspiration for a test drive.  Hopefully we can add the new lighting features we've been talking about in there somewhere shortly.

Here you go with a sneak peak…. a 2 in 1 special video.

I am VERY proud to present…my first Future Pinball “TABLE” mod….

MASTERS of the UNIVERSE:  MASTERED Edition!

This is rom’s excellent MOTU table, now updated with full motion video clips, table info and new backglass as well as new sounds. Inspired by SLAMT1LT’s tables and some of the newer pinball machines from Heighway, Stern, and Jersey Jack Pinball that now use monitor screens instead of DMDs.

I also added an all new DOFLinx update to it as well. Love how this turned out.

A video demonstration of both the Mastered Edition and DOFLinx features can be seen here:

The DOFLinx version of the table will be available here when approved:

A great version TerryRed.  I lost too many balls looking up at the backglass!  I added the link for the MASTERED Edition.

Your jobs are fine!

I am trying to put the script of the tables "Attack fron mars", "Addams family" and "black knight" to work with DOflinx, however do not understand programming and mainly do not know where to put each type of actuator for a real shot like on the original table.

Is anyone already working on them or does it already exist with DOFlinx support?

No DOFLinx on those tables. No one working on them as far as I know.I think there is an Led-Wiz version of Attack from Mars and Addams' Family for Future Pinball.

I made some video tutorials about adding DOFLinx to tables here:

Update for Star Wars Death Star Assault (Ultimate) - DOFLinx MX 1.1

1.1:

Minor bug fix.
Some users may not have been getting MX Leds due to a timing bug in the script.
Now, around 5 to 10 secs secs after the table has been loaded you should be seeing the complete MX led effects for this table (instead of Auto MX).

File will be available here when approved:

I present... the world premiere of BEZ BALL!

For my 20th Anniversary, I decided to do make a funny pinball game for my wife... about her! This game has many modes, and a main overall objective. To defeat THE BEZ! (my wife :) ). She actually plays and completes the entire game!

Definitely worth watching through the entire video guys. You've never seen a table quite like this before. It has a funny and cute build up to the final battle! You'll be amused...

Featuring:

- funny and cute Pinup Player videos from our 20 years together
- amazing voice acting from...myself! I did the voices of The BEZ, my kids, my dogs, and my mother-in law!
- full DOF feedback, lighting, and MX leds
- many modes including: Bez Ball, Ba Ba Ball, Zack Attack, Emily's Magic Trick, and Bez Battle!
- completely new table built from scratch (table, coding, sounds, music, videos, graphics) in less than 2 weeks. My first complete pinball table creation.

I have updated Masters of the Universe with all the new features.  I copied TerryRed's DOFLinx MX code from his earlier table and added it to the latest version.  My friends on the Discord forum like it.  I posted it on PinSimDB before it went down but I suppose I could post it here.

Thanks GeorgeH.  Is the link in post #1 of this thread still correct for this table?  If not what is the new link and I'll update it.
