Well I was under the impression that a forum is the place to present your thoughts, opinions, observations, etc. If there truly was something wrong, wouldn't you be curious to find out what it was? Wouldn't you want to confirm for yourself this was a non-issue in future releases, since VP continues to be developed and changed?

But whatever. If it's not my place to criticize, not even out of concern for something I admired enough to wonder if something was actually wrong, and if the forum community thinks that will only frighten away table developers, then I can already see why my frustration is justified. We are only here to admire their work and keep silent when things get confusing or disappointing.

So stand by your words above or STFU.

Here is what you posted on my Dr Dude table:

"Seems like alot of hard work for something that is almost unplayable. Kind of a tragedy to have to send this one straight to the recycle bin after 30 minutes of agonizing frustration in gameplay."

Care to review this statement and tell where you provided anything that would help me to resolve this "almost unplayable tragedy" of a table. I sure cant find anything useful here. Let me assure you that your opinion here is very much a minority opinion. Dont believe me...see my WIP page. Also be aware, this was the first table I have EVER done. Seriously...who posts this. Are you 12 years old?

Care for me to quote you again telling another author that his table sucked as well and went straight to your recycle bin.

I agree that considering you post count. The majority of your comments are abrasive and counterproductive. And clearly others share this opinion as well.

Feel free to criticize but please consider posting in a dignified manner and provide feedback that is useful for addressing issues. I feel confident I am speaking for many here that you have already offended.

-Bill

RogerRoger, I think the "relevant place" for your replies in this instance is HERE. Why go muddying up the waters of other threads??  By all means, comment with what is relevant to the existing content of those threads, but to drag "this" up onto additional soapboxes is just wrong.

...that's just my opinion. I'm not an admin here, but I'm sure the admins will make their own opinion known if need be.

I think I have seen Roger style of posts, from other another member "or two".... we need the good ol' IP lookup days.... when you knew who was playing this game.... a "ghost" is in our midst...

Good call. Usually when someone shows up and behaves like this they aren't new to the board.....

I was going to stay on the sidelines for this one, but I love this hobby far too much to let the authors be treated like this.  Even if there was confusion about a potential issue with FS mode, then this is not the thread to post in.  There are FS forced and 10.1 beta threads for suggestions and bugs found.  However even when posting potential bugs, please think about the words you choose.  It's one thing to offer suggestions, but it is vastly different than bashing someone's efforts in creating a VP table that we all get to enjoy for free.  Saying things like "it's going to the recycle bin" is not constructive or respectful in any way.

Whenever I look at my cab and play some VP, I remind myself of the countless hours the authors, coders, prim creators, db2s creators, PBX recording creators, etc. have and continue to donate to this incredibly fun hobby.  I often think about ways I can contribute and give back, since building tables is way beyond my abilities.  I just found the Resources thread and am going to do some research on tables and locating hi res images for those that don't yet have them.  I don't own real pins or have the ability to scan PFs or plastics, but still want to help in some way.

I personally have been helped many times by kind folks in this community and continue to be amazed by the patience and willingness of people to help.

As for ninuzzu's Tommy table, I find it one of the most realistic and engaging tables created so far.  The level of detail and the "fun" factor is just awesome.

Thank you ninuzzu and all creators in this fantastic community, really, for all that you do.  You are very much appreciated.

@RogerRoger

after seeing your comments I can only say this:

If you want a perfect table then pay me and I will do it.

I can only do this shit for free, so don't download it or delete it, if you don't like it. If you are pretending something from me, just pay me ;)

@all the others

thanks for the kind words

Is that mother fucker serious?

No, just confused. I'll work on earning sympathy back from the community over time, but I don't expect anyone to do more than shit on me for now. No one ever said forgiveness came free.

Shit man, your table is fucking perfect, that's why I was so confused.

I went back and re-downloaded it and played in 10.1 with the forced exclusive fullscreen again, and I do detect some kind of latency between keypresses and events onscreen, but this time I more quickly adapted. Scores around 300 Million, so that's plenty.

I normally change settings to get them how I like them. This table I wouldn't change a damn thing. Ninuzzu, please keep making tables of this quality and calibre, I am begging you. And you will never hear one more complaint from the troll, that I promise you.

So now all your previous comments claiming that your account had been hijacked ("spoofed") are deleted and you're posting again, but in manner that supports your account wasn't hijacked at all????? WTF??

Mate, we really don't need this crap around here.  I was willing to cut you a little slack at one point, but now I'm with N3roflint and agree that it's time for Admin to show you the door!

Have no idea what this mess is about, because half of the posts was deleted...

For me Tommy works on 10.1 beta.

I never liked the real table, but this recreation is superb with great physics - plays like a charm! One of best vp 10 tables and generally one of best VP tables.
