I think only one has been approved, TKO, but http://www.vpforums....oads&showcat=50

I had to go into the sub categories to upload, so it's in the VPX Recreations on that page along with America's Most haunted.

First, thanks to all involved with VPX!

Second, (and if this should be its own thread let me know) I have an odd BG setup and it seems to be giving me trouble with VPX. I've had this trouble for a long time but I haven't kept up and just hoped it would fix itself. Never (still) seen it happen on any 9.9 table. It seems to be isolated to EM's and originals. I get this error, usually about Match or similar...

Attached File  gemini error 2.png   657.81KB   21 downloads

thanks

Hey dboyrecords, first off, that's an older version of Gemini, current one is HERE, I'll get it up in the vpx downloads section soon as well.  I would guess it would not fix the issue however as I don't have a validity check in there for the remembered matchnumb other than it not being null.  The way I am storing that info is with just a     savevalue "Gemini", "match", matchnumb  line in the script which saves it in file called VPReg.stg in the Visual Pinball\User.  If I had to guess something corrupted that file somewhat.  I started doing it that way on my first table that was a Pinball Person / Leon Spalding upgrade and he did it that way and I've kind of kept it as it usually works without issues.  Anyway, you could delete the file but that would mess up any table's history that uses that same method but it sounds like others are having the problem anyway, or there is a tool out there somewhere for editing the file but I can't seem to find it at the moment.  edit:  you can get the editor from the links HERE

Thanks, I tried the editor and I see my 9.9 tables but I don't see any VPX tables...

Your installs in the same folder?  Mine shows both the 9.9 tables and VPX tables.

Yes, all in C:\visual pinball same tables folder. I used the vpx installer on top of original folder.

Just for fun as a test, rename the VPreg.stg file to something else, VPreg.bak for example, and then run the Gemini table again and it should work fine and recreate it.

I got stuttering in all VPX tables, when keeping them adjusted at windowed full screen.

I renamed to .bak, tried to run Gemini got same error, it didn't create new VPreg.stg file. Also noticed there was a Gemini txt file (and others) in user folder (didn't see it in editor). So I changed .bak back to .stg and deleted Gemini file. Same error.

hmmm, not sure what's going on there, there should be no gemini.txt file.

I have 150 EM named txt  files in my User folder. Can't say I've ever looked in there.

I know Jeff/loserman76 saves his stuff in txt files, not sure who else does, I have several as well.  I renamed my vpreg.stg to try it out on my system and it loaded and when I exited it remade a new one.  Not sure what is going on with your system, my next guess would be permissions, but if it's creating all those txt files I doubt that is the issue.  have you grabbed the latest Gemini I linked to above, just to see if there was something weird in the older one?

Looking at the error some more, I wonder if it's a b2sserver error  did you happen to get two installs of it when you ran the vp10 full installer?  Also try re-running the B2SBackglassServerRegisterApp after you made sure there are not two installs of it.
