Hi Russ

Currently using a 19" LCD monitor for dmd but am still early on in setup/configure.

Is it easy to swap out my 3rd monitor for this real-dmd deal? What specifically is involved?

Is this 1 display or 2 side by side? What is overall dimensions in length x width in inches?

I am certainly interested...

Prototype looks very impressive!

I'm using a gtx750ti. Any prediction as to whether running pindmd will introduce ball stutter? I've got LEDWiz going too. Just wondering if one more awesome add on will slow physics unless I upgrade to top of the line graphics card.

It shouldn't have any performance draw from your video card since it's USB

How do I get on the list for this?  I am building a machine and desperately need a good DMD.  Do you ship it to Russia or must I fly to Britain or an EU country to pick it up?

Sorry for long delay.

Having a lot of trouble receiving my final assembled pcb prototype from assembler. First it was lost in the post (now found) But now its been sent again its still not turned up. Not having a fun time getting hold of it!!! (I need to confirm it works before I can do final pricing)

Hoping it turns up soon! So I can continue with the project.

Like everyone else has said, I'll take one if the price is right :) Good job. I like the fact it's all built in one unit.

No frame colouring like colourDMD.

Is this a limitation of the hardware, firmware, both or something else (e.g.: Licensing...) ? It seems a shame that you have RGB capability but can't reproduce colourDMD.

IMO you would need per-frame coloring options, or even per-frame frame-substition added to Pinmame.  Then someone would have to color each frame by hand (since using the colourDMD colour data would be infringing on their property).  But it the PinDMD3 would not be the problem. So it could happen.

Finally turned up after nearly 4 weeks of waiting and failed delivery attempts!

Was a few mistakes! ooops but have managed to sort them :)

Here is what it looks like from the back.

Mounting brackets will probably be different on production model

Custom pinDMD3 controller board

All you have to do is plug in a 5v molex connector and your USB cable and your good 2 go :)

Now I know it all works I can get it prices correctly and will get back in a few days with a final price.

As for colorDMD to be able to get these coloured frames you need a team of artists! to colour each frame by hand! The hardware can support this but software does not at the moment.
