The real question is why is slingshot an option on a ramp control point

Something must be screwy in the physics mod 5 code

"it will all be ok in the end, if it's not ok, it's not the end"

Most ball stuck issues seem to be resolved but....

Sadly it seems the ball can still get stuck at the bottom in between the two flippers when trying to make it around the loop it doesn't have enough momentum and then falls back down.  ;(

Thanks LW nice updates and fixes, both play great, so I've converted them to desktop, here is how to do that..

First you need the original table by JP.

http://www.vpforums....s&showfile=5025

You need that table in the editor along with this version.

Export the backdrop image from the JP table and import it into the LW table.

There are a group of 4 ramps on the left and right sides of the JP table you need to copy and paste to the LW table. Run a frame around those on the left side of the JP table click just to the left top and drag a frame around them down to the right bottom of that set of ramps, you should now have those ramps selected, press Ctrl C to copy, switch to the LW table and then press Ctrl V, they should now be pasted to the LW table. Do likewise with the right side ramps. Then the same with the narrow ramp at the top of the JP table.

Then adjust these settings on the backdrop..

Inclination 54

Field Of View 52

Layback 0

XYRotation 360

X Scale 0.9375

Y Scale 1.25

X Offset 0

Y Offset -24

Now the table should look like this..

One last little tweak I missed to get dinos body to line up with his neck, find wall434 top right side of table and change the Top Height value to 194.

The plastic ramps are almost invisible. Can there something be done about this?

I'd like them to be more clear as well, this table is a favorite of mine so if someone was willing to make FP ramp guides for me based off the VP ramps dimensions I'd be willing to model 3D mesh ramps for it at some point.

For the most part they look good, but it's the lower loops that are unclear,  someone playing the table for the first time would likely be confused as to what's happening when the ball is looping around to the opposite side below the flippers.

Hi LW,

is there also a chance to have the lower loop diameter increased?

this would allow to use a bigger ball.

Cheers.

That was me! :-) I had never seen/played this table prior to loading on my cab (awesome by the way!) and when the ball looped back around that first time I was pretty confused. Took a second to figure it out, but it sure was unexpected.

Great job on the table. . . Thanks!

Ok...Just got to this one tonight. Again, another great job. I know some people love the day light versions. But these night mods are great! They really add depth to the table.... :dblthumb: That's why my tables are on the dark side. I can't wait to see what you are working for Wool and then what you can do for Dracula....awesome.

In case you have missed it, ClarkKent has released an updated version with a bigger ball in the VP overhaul thread.

So please forget my question :)
