Im guessing theres going to be crazy ball stutter and flipper lag on an midrange pc/cabinet.

Probably for me too - if someone complains about stutter you can bet I have it too, but I don’t think that should stop table authors to create the best possible tables with their setup. More eye candy usually requires more PC power. However, I had lots of stutter with uncle willy's tables but now with the latest VP versions they work like a charm :)

FYI I gave TedB a test version of A13 and he's got about 485 FPS as average with the latest VP rev. No stutter during gameplay and no stutter during 13-ball multiball. Thanks for testing, TedB.

Looks like this table will not become a stutter monster although a ton of primitives are added (and a few are very large, not static ones, like the rocket or the moon). A huge "thank you" to Toxie and Fuzzel, looks like all the performance improvements, especially at the primitives, pays off.

GREAT news about the speed.  Its incredible how far VP has come thanks to all who are involved!  Can't wait to play now (I've been playing the FP version since the announcement of the VP version just to get ready)

I am still stuttering myself though... 13 balls... it's madness, madness I tell you!

Had the pleasure of being able to play it for testing with VP9.2.0, and it's awesome!

Also works superb in stereo3D, i even think it's amongst my personal Top3 using stereo3D now..

On my cab, the newest CV with all its primitives and lights flashing everywhere is as smooth as silk.  But the old Black Knight 2000 table will bring my cab to it's knees if everything isn't just perfectly tuned.      I think the new stuff is more efficiently using modern hardware.

Looking forward to the release!
