Lol...too dark..too bright...you can't win! Played quite a few games since I made my first glowing report on your work...must say this is not only a beautiful table, but its a tough one. Took me a while to post into the high scoreboard.

It took me a while to post a high score as a grand champion as well. The hurricane ramp (left ramp) isn't easy to hit from a moving ball, for example, the skill shot. Also the PALACE letters are not lit very long (by hitting the right drop-targets). After hitting the droptargets, you have about 6 seconds to hit the hurricane ramp to get a PALACE letter (this is controlled by the rom so is as it should be). But there are no complaints about that here and I had no inclination to fiddle with any flipper or physics settings. Very addictive table! And since PALACE letters are carried over from game to game, it gives you incentive to keep playing and hit the 15k plus jackpot at the juggler hole. Also the Comet ramp (center ramp shot) is pretty easy to hit, and you can score multiple millions with that. As you can tell I have spent quite a bit of time with this. Thanks again to this awesome creative team.

Unfortunately too dark for me but congratulations to this amazing work, unbelievable.

thx

Norman

....really?

Yeah, unfortunaltely - i'm really a big fan of original "table art". To me, this is really  ART, so "night mods" or "dark tables" are like buying a picasso and paint it grey. So to me, table art is more important than flashing lights.

I've just played cosmic gunfight, and it's such a waste that the playfield is barely visible. And when you take a look at the number of downloads, "night mods" are way less popular than colorful, regular versions. So the best thing would be a completely black playfield with just 100 flashing lights - that would be AWESOME :thmbdn: :thmbdn: :thmbdn: :thmbdn:  - at least for little kids.

This is just my opinion, and don't get me wrong - the job you guys did is really without words.

thx

Norman

I dont see nothin wrong with what he says..he dont like dark mods and you guys jump all over his ass for nothin ?

you think everything made here is great and we should except it.. that BS

everybody has there opion ...thats what i hate about this site..people to fast to jump on people for there opions...

oh I dont like a table Im a bad man...you guys make me laugh....

I hate dark mods to but i dont care  you gonna jump on me  cause i dont like somethin ..you guys need to grow up and chill on people

were not all kiss asses..................

I just finished a game with the flippers pressed and they stayed in the up position.  Great table not complaining, just saying.

I've run into the same issue as well as the flipper contactors still firing after the game has ended.  Other than that; you guys did an excellent job on this build.

Flippers also work after game is Tilted.

But man, what a game it is.

It's a real challenge to set a decent score :)

With default settings, I've only managed to score 92 million.

You gotta get multiball where everything is x3 and x5 scoring

Okay, then it's official.

I suxor at pinball :D

AFK for some more attempts...

This table is really beautifull and well made, this mod is almost perfect, the lights, the physics, the ramps and the redraw is awsome!

Congrats guys, keep up the good work, and thank you very much for all the work made here and also in all others releases. :otvclap:

For my part it's a little too dark, I do agree, but it's only my mind.

But seriously it's a detail, you guys have made all the hard work and the result is impressive, if someone prefer a little brighter, it's very easy to export the playfield images and adjust the brightness as you want, it's like changing the ball decal, or adjusting the table offset/zoom to show the full apron...

Everybody can enjoy or not works from others, but there is some better ways to explain a pov and I think everybody should keep in mind that it's a lot of work share freely for everyone, and so you should have to be thankfull.

So I will export a few already adjusted playfield images with all the effects and redraws you have made, make them a very little brighter with my old PaintShopPro8 in a few second, and I will be very pleased to fully enjoy this beautifull mod.

Thanks a lot guys!  :Worship: :dblthumb:

i really didn't think that was a super good score or anything...you could probably really rack up the points with a skilled use of the 5x the scoring. I haven't figured that out yet to be exact.

I know this is a thread about Hurricane, but why does it keep reminding me of Medieval Madness?... :hmm:

Would it be possible to use a primitive for the wheels on the upper left side? Animation would be fluid...

I tried before the whole business with using a 3d mesh came along (wheels were done last october or something :) ) I was contemplating trying my hand at making a 3d model of the wheel to do just that, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

I think the FP version of Cyclone uses the same kind of wheel. Maybe you can use the 3D object from there? Would be the simpliest method...
