Jimmy I spent some time with this mod last night and wow.... I thought it was class. It's a really good choice of table to showcase the mod as the pace is steady away and makes for a good tactical game where control is a blessing. The mod provides some lovely accuracy, about to go in for some more time tonight.

Agree. I have been playing more of this mod on the few tables on which it is available. It provides a deeper and more rich experience. I am glad to know that it was developed via direct comparison with real. That is the scientific method and how we have progressed to the point we are technologically. I truly believe that the BMPR mod would improve the vast majority of tables we have here at VPForums. That is not to say that I would delete the originals, as I would like to keep them for comparison. The standard VP physics has its' charm, but when compared to real, BMPR wins out, hands down imo. I am speaking of the BMPR only here. I suspect that the flipper mod has important advantages as well but have yet to fully evaluate it, and thus come to a conclusion about it.

Yeah I need to! I might have to order it from amazon. We don't get Hulu here. Maybe Netflix?

jimmyfingers... not sure if I'm the first to use some of your code but I gave it a shot. I was playing around with your flipper code & liked the results I got. Thanks for the hard work you put into this stuff, the momentum thing is cool but I think this flipper thing could be something nobody can deny improves VP & it is super easy to implement, amazing what is done there with just literally a few lines of code. At least for me so far I'm not seeing any real downside with it really & better yet it played well with my physics preferences & despite not using BMPR, which is great cuz this code can be used for flippers yet people can still go ahead & tweak away in the editor however they normally would, without worry of breaking any physics. This code doesn't really change physics much, but it just tones things down a little in a couple areas when needed, which is something VP has needed for years.
