I will definatly be getting this ting on my Xbox 360 and Nintendo 3DS, since Sterns aboard i hope they release a couple S.A.M. games like maybe Pirates of the caribean, Family Guy, Spiderman, and a couple of the other older tables. I also hope they do Lord of the rings, i seriously can't wait for this and early 2012 is right around the corner. Also making 2 tables a month is a real plus. yahoo.gif

LOTR & FG ....... Yes F...ing Pleeeeeease biggrin.gif

Man, this is exciting news. I've had my laptop crap out on me-so not played VP in months sad.gif
Been playing on-location tables (a few here in Auckland).

Interested in Noah's Expo comments. I know Rob Craig's excited.

I have an iPhone and would love portable tables.
Thought of LOTR and FG is ..... Well smile.gif
I read the rest of the thread-the Pinball 101 bit!!!!!
I have that on iPhone and if all that flipper trickery is possible on these new tables.. Just WOW!! Can't wait.

Mmm.... until I see a good quality video and hear more about custom options I'm going to prepare myself for disappointment. Obviously I hope I'm wrong.

The pinball still doesn't look right. Also as this is a 3D game shouldn't the ball have full PF and light reflections?

@Mitchell: On release there will be four tables. More tables will be released as DLC, which or how many is currently unknown for as far as I know.

Remember YouTube only displays vids at 30fps, so this will have an effect on what we're 'seeing' here

I just hope this isnt going to be a fly by night thing and die out within 6 months due to lack of interest/support. We need to shout this from the roof tops guys, otherwise we might not see some of the classics they have planned for DLC.

Regarding the Stern license, do you guys think this will cover Data East and Sega tables also? I doubt we'll see games that have been based on movies though, would of loved to have seen, Godzilla, Starship Troopers and Lost in Space recreated!

@Lettuce, I wrote on their Facebook page that i went to their website and saw a picture of a real Sega Harley Davidson pinball machine, and asked them if it would be a dlc in the future. They responded were not really sure what's going to happen at this point, but Harley Davidson is a great liscense and since Stern owns Sega and Data East tables too it's a good chance we'll be seeing Harley and a bunch more from Sega and Data East in the future. But Lettuce your right we really have too support them big time, i'm already going to have it on my PS3, Xbox 360, and my Nintendo 3DS. So i will be supporting them big time, but i'm not sure i will get any EM's though, i'm just not really into them and for me it would be a waste of money, otherwise i will get the rest though.

I think their Williams Collection is excellent, especially the improved PAL version (somewhat better physics and graphics). I have faith in these guys.

licenses can be the hard part due to all the Party's that are part of some of the games.

I am as well overly excited about this (could not say it better then Rob045). I ran into this a week ago on you tube.

They say on Facebook they already have 50 tables in the process to release in the next two years, and Cirqus Voltaire will be part of the 10 first releases. Sorry but ... OMG!

I am like a kid since I saw the Stern logo on their website as well..... Please bring us POTC!!!!

I sense some extreme awsomeness coming, really... I am back to pinball hobby since three months, and I think I jumped back in exactly at the right time.

Playing head-to-head over Xbox Live is a very exciting prospect. Pinball FX2 tables are becoming more and more ridiculous so this will be a very welcome addition to my Xbox Live Arcade.

Man! This is going to be awesome! I wonder what the minimum spec requirements are for the droid system, and the PC. I hope that you can go into the coin door and change options like you can in VPinmame (for most SS games anyways.)

That's a very interesting video, thanks for sharing Dan!

Tables I saw in that video that have yet to be announced (that I know of): Bride of Pinbot, Harley Davidson (Stern), Dr. Dude, and CFTBL.

about the emulator does it have full coin door switches? also there real games have the credit dot and I think a saw a prom video of the game with a credit dot as well. If not you miss out of a lot even having a real

Also what about the HOME ROM's or even the latest roms (do they have the least non home roms even)? a lot of real games out there do not.

Also how will apple feel about emulators on Iphone? What about systems that don't have the power to run a full emulator.

How much mame / pinmame code is in that emulator?

also even if there games are set to free play I still want to be able to hear the coin up sounds and other sounds you hear by hitting flipper buttons when the game is not being played.
