I see you are just changing ball images, so there can only be psychological differences. smile.gif I know what you mean though as sometimes I use a white pearly ball image and it seems to play heavier and always appears bigger than a silver ball. Graphic size does not mean ball size. The VP ball is a 50x50 VP/unit square. Try changing the transparency on your favorite bitmap pinball image to a wrong color and then play a game with the square ball and tell me if your physics still seem to be great. I'm sure it's just an eye/brain thing going on.

On Ghostbusters, once the ball is trapped behind the targets, it will always be a green slimer ball that is spit out of the ghost's mouth. If you see a green ball, then the flippers will also be zipped closer together. If you want to play with color balls, then press 9 and only color balls will be created, pressing 9 again will return you to only silver balls and a green slimer ball.

it's definitely a psychological thing. My castle falmeir table uses a spiked ball to look like the end of a flail, but it's graphical image is about half a regular ball so it seems like you are playing with a smaller ball but it's really the same base size as the default one. it only seems smaller due to more green transparency around its circumference. so yeah it will throw your game off a bit since you are looking at a smaller ball your mind thinks the targets are now larger but it really is just an optical illusion. same goes for my Sanatorium table I used a white pearly ball in that one to make it look larger since most peoples minds think if they see lighter colored balls they seem bigger! and in that table since it's a wide-body a silver ball just looked lost in it...can't explain that one except again it's an optical illusion
