The .VPT File Type association /Play switch is broken and has been for several versions. Please see the first post in this thread Recap at the top for a possible solution.

Why do you say it's broken if you can simply install the full installer of vp9 to 'fix it' on your computer, or use vpman if that is too difficult? If you use the exe only downloads, or some specific installer revisions, it was broken. In any case, the double click to play 'oversight' is something that is currently fixed and working fine with the full installer, so I'm not going to give it the time of day to fix it for every possible configuration and ancient past release package, sorry.

Sorry. I am running on VP910 Full Install.

EDIT: My system was bent somewhere. After a second investigation and a second uninstall/reinstall, everything worked out of the box.

I apologize for any inconvenience.

Not so much a bug, put more of an observation. Is there a way to remove the trail/blur effect from the ball when its moving at speed, you can really notice this on a Fullscreen table just makes it hard to track the ball with you eye. Would be nice if an option could be included to enable or disable this effect? At first i had a bad feeling it was my display not having a fast enough response time which cause this effect on the ball, but playing FP i dont get this trail/blur effect, and remembered some member saying it was an effect added to the ball image?

Has the problem been fixed regarding using the latest nvida drivers and tilt shake script option for FS tables? Basically if in a tables script your using the line that causes the screen to move when you nudge/tilt the table, you screen goes black?

Thanks for all your hard work guys!

Sorry lettuce, imho there is no trail effect on the ball. There is a blur effect on the alpha channel of the ball (so it looks rounder). But there are no effects that should be more visible on a fast ball as on a slow ball. I have heard that there was a blur effect someday for fast balls, but i think it was removed, because it did not look good.

About FS shakes: I have the newest NV Drivers. When i nudge, I can see the screen going black for 1 Frame (at 25% of plays) and turning back "on" after that. After the first nudge, this "feature" is gone.

One of the Ultrapin personnel was trying to correct the ball graphics so that they looked better in motion on the early LCD monitors suffering high latency issues, I think that is how that went.
This was before the advent of 120 F.P.S. LCD and LED monitors.

Âh OK, this was the story. But today i cannot see any effects on drawing the ball.

Does the dev team have a release date for the update fix for VP9.10 yet?, I know there was talk of it being finished and out for testing to table creators about 10 days ago or so?

Also any chance of UVP being implemented in this update?
