I keep trying to get the nerve up to make a table. EM's seem like a good starting point. Jive Time or Central Park seem interesting to me.

Time to fire up a template and start resource hunting!!

I've got some pictures if you're interested (not to be pushy) and there's a similar game for a head start. Baseball themed, pm me if youre interested and I'll give you the particulars.

After just playing FP for the first time in months to show respect to Popotte I demand that you make Centigrade 37.

I'm hoping Eala will update a bunch of his EM's including Vulcan now that he can play VP9.

I'm taking this poll because i was thinking of maybe doing a series of em table. I'd like to use some textures from poppotte and greywolf, but before i go through the trouble of getting permission from them i wanted to make sure there was some interest in the community for them.

I happened to be looking through my fp collection and poppotte and greywolf have made some beautiful em tables that i thought would make a nice addition to vp9 in both FS and desktop view.

Lets see how this turns out

-unclewilly

I really like to play old EM's. Here is a picture of a table I am working on. It is FACES from (I believe) 1973 by Spanish company Sonic. It was the first pinball machine I bought many years ago.

By the way, Is there a way to display the backdrop on the second screen???

There are many old IRP tables that play very well but could use new paint and rubbers (like the real games). I'm doing one myself this way (Ash table). Why redo it if you don't have to, right?

You may want to checkout this playfield redraw I uploaded here...

http://www.vpforums....?showtopic=2516

Not my work, I actually grabbed this redraw from the Aussie Arcade forums, it's an actual redraw done by the owner of a Pinball Pool table to replace the playfield.

Oh and for a VP8 conversion you really need to adjust the slope to a higher value to compensate for the lack of gravity and the flippers need a wider swing arc, as well as slightly different speed/strength settings.

Thanks steve, I'll check that out and compare it with poppotte's. I'm gonna do it from scratch rather than convert. I want to give the coding a try myself before i adopt someone elses code, although i'm sure i will be borrowing code, as i don't see rulesheets for any of these tables anywhere.

First, Pinball Poll is a SS not an EM...
Second, if you want bigger pics, no problem (my PF is 2520 x 5240 in fact). Same for the IPDB pics (just have to find my real name...).

It us an ss, I hadn't looked yet. That will be an easy one then as the VPm ones are easy to code. I'll have to find a true em, cause I want to try the coding for practice. If the coding doesnt work out for me I will probably just convert your code to vp, as I like the way your tables play

All in all just do what tables you want to do UW. I'd like to see Old Chicago too.

Which Ash table are you working on? There's many good ones. I might do his Champ once I'm done with Baseball, Target Alpha and now FS Hokus Pokus
