Anyone do just a plain "HyperPin" logo that they are willing to share?

Thanks Russ!! I was just about to report that Firepower had alpha numeric display issues if you needed another one for comparison.

btw - I have my new dmd logo and it has only appeared once on the display (first time I exited a game) and every time since then it doesn't re-load dmdlogo.txt so I'm not sure why that is happening for some people and not others.

Could it have anything to do with how Hyperpin closes Visual Pinball?
How do you "test" that Visual Pinball has ended and it's time to re-load the dmdlogo.txt?

People have reported issues in the past with how Hyperpin closes Visual Pinball based on the differences in their FPLaunch code, could this be a factor?

Best Regards,
Todd.

kruge99 I placed your dmdlogo.txt in my table dir (C:\Visual Pinball\Tables) and I use HyperPin with Blur's FPLaunch WIP9 and it works perfectly. Your Nautilis Logo pops up right after I quit a table from HyperPin. Really great, Now I'm going to try and make a hyperPin Logo.

currently the .dll loads the .txt file when a game is finished and the stopEmulation method is called

all this is gonna change quite soon, me and snotz are gonna remove the dmdlogo code completely from the .dll and add it to another program that will control the logo animations. this will hopefully be controlled by hyperpin. so when u close a game hyperpin will call the .exe and it will read in the .txt file and run all the dmd animations and stuff

so not to worried about how the .dll loading the .txt at the moment as its all gonna change smile.gif

for animations i went searching through google and came up with this program. Its called dmdpaint and it looks like it would work for our needs. It allows you to import several file types even .txt files

maybe someone with a bit more knowhow and time can experiment with it.

here is the link to the forums(vp doesnt allow links to gopinball) smile.gif and a link to the program itself.

Thanks Russ, will this firmware combined with the latest vpinmame.dll fix Medusa?

Best Regards,
Todd.

Reason for edit: Just reporting that the new firmware combined with the latest vpinmame.dll still does NOT fix the alpha-numeric display for Medusa.
