first of today... with the JP version this time : 9.750.440

thats what i call a great first ball (with 3 EB), snap while in play (locked balls) :

and than few points and drained ball 2 & 3 for no-risk to roll over...

trick : never use the MAGNA save (the nudge works better) its just a waste of time and concentration
just aim for MULTIBALL again and again and ... : points are X3/X2, and targets are falling naturally without aiming for them with 3/2 balls in play...

Finally im in the list, with FunHouse from JPSalas for VP9.

Congrats Ceto, that's an amazing score! Can you tell something about your game (extra balls, jackpots etc?)

+1

i really have some probs to scores with these era tables, im far from you all guys... strange huh !?

Hi Ripleyyy,
I have the problem in reverse, I can't bring myself to go for a high score on pre-DMD style or even EM machines. Funhouse is somewhat of an exception because I fell in love with Lander's beautiful VP8 table. I also played some Black Knight 2000 but I can't handle that much repetition after a while and I would not know how to muster up motivation for those roll-over games. I think it depends on your first exposure to pinball, and for me that was with machines in the early-mid '90s. They left an indelible imprint on me for playing pinball machines. So I can understand the fact that people who got into pinball in the '70s would love those machines and don't want anything to do with fancy toys on the table and videomodes.

Did you know that "playing pinball" is called "flipperen" in Dutch? Now you know and may your life be enriched by this arcane knowledge....

Played this table alot, this and elvira from JPSalas plays like the real table, which is incredible! Ive got 4 extra balls, maybe 6 jackpots and about 10 times multiball.
After 100 millions ive stoped playing, because the score started to count from 0 again, which was very irritating. But at the final score tables the score was then shown correctly again. smile.gif
It could have been alot more, im not yet finished with funhouse.

@SM : heu... i dont know ! while i have only 2 versions, and its not the LE, i supposed the other is from JP !? do we have 3 versions of the table ???

about FUNHOUSE : just tried 1 game, and it was with no doubt my best game on that table (lol) : 69M ! is still far away form Ceto hi-score whtflag.gif
4 EB & 4 (shit) MULTIBALL, impossible to keep balls on the playfiled, no jackpot at all sad.gif

edit SM : yep, i see now, 3 versions, and it was not JP than, i dont know who it is, i have to check on the download section...
and that means now i have to play the JP version !!! big lol of course

edit2 : simple as that, its from Kristian & Neurokinetik Worship.gif

edit3 : the JP version is way too fast, but OK, no mater, will break the score there too, already done 3.7M... and tactic is the same wink.gif

Here are a couple of scores from me:

First, a repost of my VP8 Bride of Pinbot (I believe Dorsola/BubleHEAD made this table) Had to reupload the score as I grabbed the screenie from the wrong machine the first time.

Time Machine (JPSalas VP8 version 5.0):

Finally, Scapino's Eight Ball Champ:

well, not sure how we (SM, he's the "boss") finally rule the competetion about the roll-over...
think the screen capture just before is not good, you have to TILT the pin and than save the score in the nvram file

whtflag.gif

btw, congrats for your score wink.gif

My humble TOTAN score smile.gif On JP's VP9 3.0 version.

I got about 90 lamp spins, saved the princess 1 time and got around 30 million from a single lightning lamp (with tripled points for it, thanks to a wish)

I'm amazed by the highness of the scores you guys achieve!

Slam23:
whtflag.gif Don't you worry Slam23, I will be playing some DMD '90's pins soon, but I have to put a few ANDROIDS up in the vp8 section first. Sabbat Moon has a quite the monopoly going dblthumb.gif. Those games are quick and aren't as demanding or long as some of the vp9 great looking ones. I'm just going to go through the alphabet and give the ones I recognize and have played before a revisit.
I am totally enjoying the latest games!!

Ceto: Nice score on JP Funhouse, I will have to try every time I get tired of the vp8 tables!!

Sabbat: Thanks for the tips on VPMAN,

ALL the following HS screenshots are vp8

AbraCaDabra is really smooth playing for an older table but the ten black targets need to reset, I believe. I'll have to check it out in Future's Version. more to follow, seems it won't add them to this post

Heres a few more rolleyes.gif The DropACard is Bob5453 contest table vp8,

Would like to add Patches version of El Dorado. It plays beautifully, although not as nice-looking a Gottlieb, as JP Salas conversion of Popottes Future Pinball's El Dorado. Patches has the ORIGINAL scoring, and the accessibility of the top row of cacti (drop targets) from the bottom flippers, The Longest skill shots in pinball) And the SPECIAL LIGHT on all standing targets after the first time down!!! FREE GAMES!! Run it up to a hundred. keep track how many games you have won, in one complete game of Patch's El Dorado, you'll love it. otvclap.gif
